(2 pack) La Morena Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce, 7 oz

Ridiculous that in an area with a 40% Hispanic population, Walmart doesn't stock any type of peppers in adobo sauce. These had to ship from NEW YORK, which I didn't realize at the time of order.

Classic, tried and true. You can't go wrong.

of the available like products this is clearly the best tasting. must have for my pantry. tried all the other labels;

I wanted to create a sauce similar to Sonny's BBQ smoking hot sauce, having fewer grams of sugar. I tried a couple of other shelf brands and found their flavors to be lacking as they were watery. La Morena has both a rich sauce flavor and deeper smoky flavor than other brands I have found. I empty two cans into a mini processor to make a thick mix. Later I began adding 2 TBS each of canola oil, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and vinegar; combining the smokey hot Chipotle mix with elements for mustard based BBQ sauce. Unfortunately, Wal-mart no longer carries this product within my region and also does not offer it for delivery. I hope they return it to their shelves, since their remaining competitors fall short.

Best smoked flavor. Tried other brands and they just didn't have the overall flavor. Unfortunately, Walmart does not carry anymore. Will have to go to competetor.

Full disclosure: I have nothing to compare these to as I've never tried them before. The issue I had could just be me! But there were like, these hard crunchy bits in it, maybe seeds, I don't know... I didn't like the texture! The flavor was fine!
