Okayyyy! So automatically with hearing Lawry's I think SALTY! Well, I am here to tell you that this is not salty at all! This seasoning is more flavorful than salty! I actually use this with some chopped meat side by side with Old El Paso…wow! Lawry's was calm and flavor packed…I could taste the chili's and peppers but shockingly not salty. I looked at the package and saw 300 mg assuming salty bc Old El Paso had 280 mg! This instantly became the house favorite!!!!

I've tried a lot of taco seasonings over the years, and this one has a really nice flavor. It's savory and well seasoned without being too spicy. I used it for tacos and was happy that I didn't need to add much else besides the packet and a little water. The flavor tasted balanced and not overly salty. Definitely something I'm keeping in the pantry on the regular.

The seasoning itself made the taco meat taste how I remember my mom making them years and years ago. It had the perfect blend of cumin, garlic and onion all while not tasting too salty. The spice was just right. It was exactly the way I like it and my family loved them. They now want tacos regularly. I love that I didn't have to add any extra ingredients to adjust the flavor. By far some of the best tacos I've ever made.

I used the Lawry's taco seasoning to make nachos at home. Typically, I buy a low sodium variety. Lawry's sent me this free sample through BzzAgent in exchange for an honest review. Since I'm trying to consume less sodium, I only used half a pack for about 1.5 pounds of ground turkey. Although I used a smaller amount, the meat was still well seasoned and tasted great with my other ingredients. It's a pretty standard taco seasoning packet that is comparable to other brands I have tried. If you're watching your sodium, half a pack is just enough. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone that loves a good taco night.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinions. We eat tacos quite a bit in my house, so when I received the opportunity to try this product, I was excited because I'm also a fan of Lawry's seasoning products. I really liked the flavor of the seasoning, it gave the tacos a really nice authentic feel. The only con is that I felt it was on the salty side - I did use finely diced beef instead of the recommended ground beef or ground chicken, so maybe that was the issue. So I'm looking forward to trying it again with one of those two!

i would normally choose a taco seasoning made by a mexican brand, so i was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the Lawrys taco seasoning. It provided a good flavor to the meat. The only issue was that its for 2 pounds of meat so we had to divvy it up.
