I've used Lysol Laundry Sanitizer in the unscented "Free %26 Clear" formulation since long before the pandemic. It adds a level of confidence that our family's clothes are not just clean, but sanitized from germs and bacteria. I wouldn't dream of doing a load of towels or bedding/blankets without it. And we've had the flu twice this year so needless to say, everything had to be laundered and sanitized with this product. I mix in a little of Lysol's scented version into an empty bottle so I can control the amount of scent is left on our clothes because we're sensitive to that and it works beautifully. We're sensitive to chemicals in detergents and I've never had a reaction from this product (and I have to certain laundry detergents that claim to be clear of them). I highly recommend Lysol Laundry Sanitizer (and the Sport formula for kids/adult athletic wear too!)
Good product, easily used. Wish it came unscented but it's not overwhelming. I was a little surprised that it goes in the rinse cycle. I did another rinse after the first cycle. Note that it is recommended to allow the laundry to sit %26 soak for about 15 minutes.
I like to use this on my bed sheets, my bath towels, and with my cleaning cloths. If something gets spilled on the floor or dirt gets tracked inside, I wash those towels with this Sanitizer. With the foot surgery I had, I want to keep things clean and sanitized to cut down on bacteria and germs. It does not contain bleach, and leaves no odor.
Ever since I discovered this product I have been quite satisfied with its performance. It seems to work well on mild irritants gathered on clothes and is useful on fabrics that cannot be bleached. I have sensitive skin so that means a lot. I have experienced, however, when another relative used the product in the wash that if you use more than is recommended it can cause "itching." Once again, I have sensitive skin and so I must take great care to not over apply any product that is going to come in contact with my skin no matter its form. I receive no compensation for this review - Thanks for reading.
I have a senior uncle who is incontinent so it is important that I use sanitizer. Do you know I used to bleach his clothes just to make sure they were sanitary. A lot of his pants have bleach stains. So when I found this it is of course a game changer. Obviously I can't tell without a microscope but I feel more confident washing his clothes and mine with the sanitizer. I have sensitive skin so the free and clear works best for me.
LYSOL LAUNDRY (FREE AND CLEAR) SANITIZER IS GREAT FOR SANITIZING MEDICAL CLOTHES. MY DAUGHTER WORKS AT A PET CLINIC/HOSPITAL AND I USE THESE FOR HER SCRUBS AND THE WHOLE FAMILY LAUDRY IN THE WASHING MACHINE. MAKE SURE TO PROTECT FROM COVID AND OTHER GERMS. FREE AND CLEAR SO THERE IS NO SMELL. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
I am more confident that my laundry is not carrying bacteria or viruses when I use Lysol Laundry Sanitizer. Decades ago, Lysol put out a product that was a concentrated sanitizer that smelled like the Lysol cleaning product. I used it because my husband was a fire fighter and plumber. Need to sanitize! This is MUCH better!
I've used this a few times now as a presoak and post-wash rinse in the washing machine for sports sweat odors and bras. I like it, it's easy to use, and seems to eliminate or decrease most odors in clothing. My only complaint is I can still lightly smell the chemical-y/ bleach scent after washing.
I love washing my clothes snd knowing that I am killing germs we come into contact on daily basis! As a school teacher and having kids in school and daycare we definitely are coming into contact with nastiness! I absolutely recommend the unscented Lysol laundry sanitizer.
If you have allergies to fragrances this is the best item or if you have chemically induced COPD. It's wonderful and fantastic in your laundry and it works on floors too!
