(2 pack) Mahatma Ready-to-Eat White Jasmine Rice, Microwavable Rice, 8.8 oz Pouch

For those of us that are short on cooking time, these ready rice packets are sensational. They taste delicious and with in a couple of minutes… Wala… your rice is cooked. The jasmine is one of my favorites. A staple in my kitchen cupboard.

As someone who just cannot seem to get rice to cook properly, I love this. So easy. So adaptable to every genre of food. Plus it's a quick carb to bulk up a meal.

Let me start by saying, I LOVE Mahatma jasmine rice in the original bag that you cook on the stove. I won't use anything else, in fact. 15 minutes %26 you have perfect texture, delicious, aromatic rice. Well... this ain't that. The microwave version smells oily, the texture is mushier, %26 the taste is like someone mixed facial moisturizer with the rice. It's not right. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth like when you accidentally swallow shampoo in the shower. Skip this product %26 use the original. 15 minutes isn't long to wait for good rice.

Why would you guys sell product that is moldy! I never in my life ever buy prepared rice well I was sick one day and decided to buy prepared rice and to my looks of accessing things before I microwave things and look Mold ALL OVER

Watch for mold. This is unopened and over a year away from expiring.

We got this as a substitution for our preferred rice brand. Went to microwave the packet and pour it out to eat, and immediately realized it was filled with stinky black mold!!! (All Walmart did was issue a refund)

Both packages were filled with MOLD

I bought this product and just microwaved it for 90 seconds. Opened the bag poured on my plate and I was totally disgusted by what came out of the bag. I will NEVER buy this product again.
