So, this is the Mainstays Three Gallon Plastic Trash Can in Black. It is 7.83" Length x 10.24" Width x 12” Height. This is the perfect trash can for your bedroom, laundry room, bathroom or office. It is made out of a durable plastic. I replaced this tiny trash can for my husband’s office. It fits perfectly under his desk. It is very strong and has round corners. This trash can, can be lined with a grocery bag and it fits perfectly. It keeps the inside of it clean and all you got to do is tie up the handles and throw it out. At first, I didn’t think the grocery bag would fit, that it would be too small, but I was pleasantly surprised that I was wrong. What I like is that it fits more trash for my husband. So, every week he would do his infusion and his trash can would be overflowing with all his syringes and tubing. With the old tiny trash can, when he would do his infusion, his trash would overflow and then it would be knocked over by either of the cats or the dog because it would be too full! His needles go into a sharps container so we do not worry about that.

This is perfect for inside the cabinet under the kitchen sink with a 4 gallon trash bag. They're also great to have at my sewing stations for quilt retreats. They have a flat base, so they do not easily tip over.

The dize was perfect gor my screened in porch. Might be too wide for a bathroom.

I really needed a trash can for my laundry room, so I got this little beauty. I love how sturdy it feels, the plastic is thick enough to hold up under pressure. This can is the perfect size, at 3 gallons, for what I need and I chose black because that color goes with every decor. Now maybe my kids will put the lint and fabric softener sheets in the garbage instead of waiting for me to do it! I got this to replace a very small trash container that sits on top of my dryer. I have been so frustrated with that darn thing! I am excited to have it and can highly recommend giving it a try!

I have possessed the Mainstays 3-gallon Black Trashcan for a few days now and have found no negative characteristics besides it not fitting my shredder whose basket deteriorated over several years. Since the shredder top had extenders on both sides to fit a variety of containers, I surmised it might work. But it is slightly too narrow. Nevertheless, for most refuge collection tasks it will be a solution whether it is discarding office paper waste, or spent differential oil in a SUV. It is small enough to fit in many places where anything larger just wouldn't do. It is a medium thickness texture so it should hold up to light duty tasks with ease over a moderate time period. However, to adequately rate the container higher or lower, it would need to be examined over a much longer time period than I can afford. Consider the purchase of this Mainstays 3-gallon Trash Can for any tight space tasks that might arise.

They are small and made of hard plastic so they crack easily. 5 of them were cracked during shipping.
