Love these! The oil-rubbed bronze color is right on and matches all my other orb items in my bathroom. They're also very strong and the hooks are curved just enough to hold things like towels and robes perfectly.
Very nice texture to the metal and the screws were high-quality. This went into the wall really easily.
Ah, the whims of fate! One seldom anticipates unearthing true magnificence amidst the humbler aisles of retail behemoths, but here we are, basking in the glow of revelation. The Mainstay Hook with Mounting Hardware in Oil-Rubbed Bronze is, dare I declare, an epitome of utilitarian splendor. Upon first glance, it was evident that the creators of this hook possess a profound understanding of form, function, and the delicate balance that lies between them. The oil-rubbed bronze finish exudes an enchanting patina that whispers of old-world charm while simultaneously boasting a robustness that promises unwavering service. The craftsmanship is manifest in every curve and contour, a testament to an era when even the simplest household accessory was designed with an artist's touch. The mounting hardware, often relegated to the role of mere afterthought, here becomes a critical component of the grand symphony—each screw and bracket a note in a harmonious melody. Installation, to my immense delight, was an exercise in precision and ease. The hardware, as reliable as the sunrise, secures the hook with a steadfast grip. Once affixed, the hook holds its position with the dignified assurance of a butler in a grand estate, prepared to shoulder the weight of your heaviest garments without a hint of protest. In a world awash with mediocrity, the Mainstay Hook with Mounting Hardware in Oil-Rubbed Bronze stands as a beacon of unparalleled excellence. It is not merely a product; it is a declaration of taste, a cornerstone of domestic elegance. To bestow upon it anything less than five stars would be a grave disservice. Indeed, it is the finest acquisition one could hope to make within the hallowed halls of Walmart.
I got this Mainstays Coat Hook to mount on my hall closet door by the front door... in order to easily hang my jacket & cap. Made of metal with a 10 pound weight limit, it has a very attractive finish. And it can easily support the weight of a heavy winter coat. It comes with all the mounting hardware you need to have it mounted on to your wall or door in just a few minutes. I definitely recommend this very nice looking coat & hat / cap hook.
Surprised by the quality; looks fancy in silver.
Perfect in the bathroom to hang your robe on...I smile each time I do it...
The Mainstays Traditional Coat Hook W/ Mounting Hardware is strong enough to hold 2 medium weight coats at one time. I haven't tried it with 2 heavy weight coats because I don't have 2 heavy weight coats. But remember to find a wall stud for mounting. Or use sheet rock or paneling anchors if you choose not to locate it on a wall stud. The Coat Hook is " Strong Enough" for it's intended purpose.
The design if flawed. The bottom screw hole is in front of the bottom hook, so you have to put the screw in at a slight angle. You will end up marking up the front of the bottom hook trying to screw it in (forget getting a drill in there) and have to paint over it because it's a softer metal.
I ordered this product but received totally different hooks. Naturally, I was overcharged for said hooks. I have no clue whether they are a good product or bad, but they're going back to the store. I will order hooks from another company.
I can not believe someone would deliver a package to a business and just leave the package in an entrance without calling the contact phone number. I have no idea where my order is, if it is even at our campus or if I will receive it! It was actually delivered to the wrong building!!
