I love that these containers are pretty sturdy, even though they are budget-friendly. I use them for all storing all sorts of stuff - not just food items. They are perfect for organizing my craft supplies because they are neither too small nor too big.
We use these for our salads that we make for our lunches during the week. We don't use them in the microwave and I do not put them in the dishwasher because our water is super hot and they would just melt. Sometimes containers like this do pretty OK on the top shelf, but don't put them on the bottom basket because they would definitely warp from the hot water. They look good amount and I definitely recommend them for cold food storage. I would not so much recommend them for heating food in the microwave. Definitely don't ever use them in your oven.
i use these containers for my art supplies. they are perfect size for my acrylic paints, around 200 colored pencils, a large supply of gel pens( neon and regular) permanent markers and stencils. i stack them in a cabinet. i just take out what i need when crafting or other.
Really poor QC and seal on these, I had to mix and match containers and lids to find semi-acceptable matches, but none truly seal and all are susceptible to popping loose if the container is subjected to unusual stresses like lifting, placing, staring, etc. These are what you buy to store food that's going to destroy the container or give away leftovers at parties... to people you kinda don't like.
The lids don't seal tightly. I sealed mine and they looked tight, but they popped back up in the freezer. It is disappointing to say the least. I did like the ability to microwave food in them. I think there may have been a manufacturing issue with the lids.
The pictures do not show my frustration very well. But if you can see, you can get one side closed and the other side pops off. We have purchased these before and they worked well enough for what we needed it to. We ordered these online. And I ordered 4 sets of them. We are not able to use more than half. And I don't trust that is does seal. I used s We always use these rectangle food containers for leftovers or sending food home to the kids. One experience, I finally do get the lid wrangled on, put it in a box and the lid pops off and food spills everywhere. I was so disappointed. Everything is too expensive now, too expensive to buy something to save money that doesn't work.
I am not sure why so many gave these containers a great review. The ones I purchased were nearly impossible to seal - and some would not seal at all. The fit of lid to container was off as if warped, and that was true at the first attempt to use them. A total waste of money.
I purchased 2 of these containers. The lids did not fit on any of them. I thought maybe there would be one defective lid but not one of the 6 would close. Where was the quality control check. Will not purchase this brand again. The price was reasonable but the inconvenience was a big problem.
The lids on these containers DO NOT fit. I bought two sets of five today and they are already in the trash. Shame on you for selling a product you must know is defective. Note that I tried ALL the containers, hoping the first was a fluke. Ridiculous.
It was the right size %26 shape %26 a great price, but the lids won't go on. I'm really good at figuring things out, so I was hoping there was simply a trick to it. But 2 other people tried it, %26 they couldn't close the lids either. They are no use to me w/out the lids.
