Good budget swap. Very similar to the name brand, with that honey flavor and crunchy texture people expect. Slightly sweeter and maybe a little less crisp, but honestly close enough. Works great for breakfast or just snacking by the handful. Like most cereals, it softens in milk pretty quickly, but not a deal breaker. Easy, affordable option that gets eaten without complaints.
The price is cheaper to buy it in the bag and the off brand is just as good at the name brands. We have Rubbermaid cereal keepers so it doesn't go stale.
These taste just like honey Cheerios. We love the size for the price two bags last the family in the entire month.
Like it better then honey nut cheerios, more substance to rings and not over whelmed with sweetness..
These taste great and are just as good as the name brand, but without the expensive price tag! My kids actually prefer these.
It's not quite as good as the name brand and during the heat of summer can contain large, white, crunchy melted then re-hardened pieces of sugar/honey. Not advised to eat without looking (unless you bite gently at first) if it's hot in your area. The bag is great, typically the top tears off fine as it's meant to. When an error has been made separating the bags after manufacture, I have to resort to tearing the top open cleanly or cutting it off and using a bag clip to hold it closed after folding in the sides and top. (If left open to the air, the crunchy pieces can turn mushy, which might make them easier to eat if you have tooth problems.) The built-in easy-seal is typically adequate.
Just not as good as the name brand, but a decent substitute. Product has a strong chemical smell when bag is opened each time. No chemical taste though.
The price of the "original" is crazy and for a dollar less this one taste good and works just as well.
These taste really good, I enjoy them. That being said, they don't fill you up and keep you full the way they use to. I've been getting the great value brand instead and although not perfect, I find it does a better job at filling me up.
Purchased on May 7, 2026. Upon opening the cereal, the same day, the cereal was rancid, even though the expiration date isn't until September 14, 2026.
