My daughter and I are both impressed by how similar the flavor of this cold cereal is to its name-brand counterpart. The marshmallows are different (shapes and colors) from the brand name, but this has zero impact on the flavor/taste (obviously). I would definitely suggest this as an option for anyone who likes the brand name "magically delicious" cereal.

Marshmallow Mateys is a family favorite in our house! The crunchy oat cereal and sweet marshmallows make the perfect combination, and the giant bag lasts much longer than boxed cereals. It's a fun, delicious breakfast that both kids and adults look forward to eating.

I love it. It has just as many marshmallows, if not more, compared to the big brand. Don't be afraid to give it a try.

This bag brings me back to my childhood when I eat it. Way cheaper than major name brands and I get so much more with the same great taste. Love it as a fast breakfast or a midnight snack.

Love this marshmallow-y cereal made with oat flour. While it may not be the healthiest cereal out there, it’s definitely not the worst either. Doesn’t get soggy in milk.

It compares so close to Lucky Charms if my eyes were closed I don't think I could tell the difference.

best cereal I am lactose intolerant so I just get me a bowl and a spoon and eat me a bowl full of this without milk it's better than nothing it is very very good cereal I sometimes just use it to snack on it's better than chips and other things

Malt-O-Meal Marshmallow Mateys is a hit in our home. The kids love it and the adults do too. The sweetened oat pieces are a tad larger than the name brand option, but stay crunchy in milk for a fair amount of time. There are lots of marshmallows in the bag full of cereal too, which is, of course, the best part. It tastes so good! Granted this isn't considered a "healthy" cereal like the oat %26 nut, or bran type cereals without sugar coatings, but it is made with real grain, so it offers some nutritional values. Great for breakfast with milk before the day begins and also a good option as a snack later on. The cost of it makes it a fantastic value for any budget, but especially for those struggling to make ends meet.

We love this cereal. I think it's better than the pricer more well known name brand. Plus it's wow a bit cheaper. I only have 1 complaint and that's that they don't offer any smaller bags. They do other places but at Walmart they don't have the $1 or$3 bags and sometimes I can only afford the cheaper ones so it would be nice if they offered them also.

Good for a quick breakfast. High in sugar though. Size of bag makes it worth the price if you are watching your budget.
