(2 pack) Margaret Holmes Seasoned Italian Green Beans, 27 oz Can

I am a fan of green beans, but Italians are my favorite. Seems like most gardeners never want to mess with growing this type, but they are so good. I usually adjust the bonus Margaret Holmes seasoning a bit to my taste. Those unfamiliar with Italian green beans should give them a try.

They got somebody's grandma cooking these. I would definitely recommend. My grandson can get enough. Texture, color, smell turns him off very easily but this is one vegetable he will definitely eat. Very little additional seasoning is needed. Their mixed greens and collared greens are good for weekdays when you're in a pinch. I know this place isn't black owned but they have somebody's big momma in the kitchen or got the recipe. If you know you know!!!

these green means are yummy without a doubt easy to make and convient for. a busy family night... don't need much adding to this actually and that's fantastic for a family who can't cook but can nuke, or heat, I didn't get sick if nuking these it's perfect...and fresh

I've told all of our family members, who buy groceries, about these green beans being the very best I've tasted since my own Mammaw's canned beans! 🫛 With this brand, I can just pour into the bowl or pan to heat before eating!! They're TRUE SOUTHERN FLAVOR!!

It was a wee bit mushy but very tasty. Just a bit after I ate it..I felt very itchy. Then next morning I woke up covered in hives from head to toe. I read the ingredients...it literally says all that is in there, beans and water etc...but there is a sentence that says spices, but doesn't say what kind. I might be sensitive to the Monosodium glutamate. I read the product is canned in a facility where peanuts are packaged but I am not allergic to peanuts. Not sure what made me break out in hives, but I am covered. I guess I cannot eat them 🤷‍♀️ However, if you can try them, because they were good ...just not for me. 🥺

I love this product because it tastes exactly how it tastes when I cooked them myself at home! I could not tell the difference between Margaret Holmes canned Italian Green Beans and the ones I cooked from scratch. Look, it saves me time and the quality is no different than the ones I prepared from my garden, I found the taste to be extraordinary and the seasoning to be like my home made ones, but without all the time spent over the stove!

Margaret Holmes Seasoned Italian Green Beans are good. They are perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor right out of the can. I fry up a pan of bacon and then add these to the pan and fry them down and they have become one of my family favorites.

Now this is appealing to my taste buds! I like this product! Spice is nice %26 the green beans are good! Just one thing that took me by surprise! They tend to leave bits of the vine or two. First time I had these I bit down on one %26 Took me awhile to recover! But all in all… this will be a product I will keep on hand….till fresh grows in my garden! Try them ya'll!

Based on so many great reviews, thought I'd give this a try %26 unfortunately, imo, I will never purchase again. The texture was good, but smell was less to be desired, the flavor wasn't good %26 left a strange aftertaste. Couldn't even manage to finish a helping on my plate %26 tossed in the trash.
