(2 pack) Mezzetta Italian Mix Giardiniera 16 fl oz Jar

Love this product, nice and chunky. But in my order for six jars, there was an extra open jar on top of the the paper packing material but under the plastic bubble on top. The contents were mostly still in the jar, but the lid was completely off and the brine had soaked into the paper packing. I can only figure that a warehouse worker was having an illicit snack while packing the order and had to hid the evidence in my package when surprised.

Summoned by carriage to the very doors of the Realm, this jar of Italian giardiniera arrived as a provision too rare to trust to chance. Bright peppers and seasoned vegetables rested within, steeped in oil and bold intent. When joined to slow cooked meats, which were shredded and heaped upon bread, it brought flavor and sharp brilliance to every bite. The golden drippings from the Crockpot were gathered as sacred dipping sauce, and together they formed a feast of uncommon strength. This was no minor garnish. It transformed the sandwich into legend. Kitchen of the Realm Verdict: Worthy of Repeat Summoning.

Normally I don’t have an issue but the jar was open, leaking, with seal broken.

I clearly did not know what I was ordering with this item. I thought it was going to be a sort of pickled or marinaded vegetable dish. But it is just cauliflower and carrots in vinegar and salt. The first bite I took almost made me throw up. It's just a salty vinegar taste that apparently some people really like. Unfortunately I'm not one of those people. I don't even know how this item could be used so that it would taste better! I guess if you know what you are getting it would be okay. But I can't imagine how this could ever be good. I don't recommend it at all.

I never received any of this item. Not 1 or 6 items of which I ordered were shipped and received at my home. The pepper relish that was left on my garage floor in a box with the Vicks Vapor Mentholatum Rub is not what I ordered. Please send a return label so that I can prepare those bottles for pickup and return!!!!!

taste was bad i think i gotta bad jar ..not crunchy at all

This item was like it had already gone bad, before we received it. It smelled absolutely disgusting! It's too bad, because it would have been a convenient purchase. 🤦‍♀️

I would have like to taste the Mezzetta Italian Mix Giardiniera but I didn't receive it in the delivery of my grocery order, but hopefully in my next order.
