(2 pack) Newman's Own Marinara Pasta Sauce 24 oz

I like a chunkier texture, but this has a nice tart taste. I tend to skip browning and stirring in ground beef for laziness reasons (not a cleanup lover), but the flavor is terrific. The jar size is adequate, not more than that, for a 1 pound box of pasta. Makes for a quick and easy weeknight dinner, is delicious and comes at a very reasonable price point--that's important in these overly expensive times, IMHO.

This is the first Newman s Own product I have ever bought, but, I'm glad it did. Every once in a while I get hungry for homemade pasta or pizza. I usually buy whatever sauce is on sale that week, but, get disappointed in the taste and end up eating one meal and throwing the rest away. This time I tried Newmans Own pasta sauce. Wow.. it tasted great. Plus, this is the first time I have used the whole jar for other meals. This tastes like homemade. I think the other bottled sauces use to be good, but, something happened to the flavor along the way. At least, in my experience.

This sauce is perfect for any Italian dish! Very versatile and I can use this for pizza sauce as well! I love the flavor . It has the perfect combination of spices, it's thick , and there's no twang. If it's too thick you can always thin it down. Paul Newman came up with the perfect recipe.

Newman's Own is a brand by the late actor Paul Newman. Not only do the proceeds go to charity, but the company is focused on ethical sourcing and good nutrition. Don't let the no added sugar fool you-this sauce is TASTY! Good for you body, good for a nonprofit, and good for your taste buds. RIP Mr.Newman.

No matter what sauce I buy, I always add to it, Sugar! Let me explain, Italians. I love tomatoes but the acid is too high. It causes fever blisters, and they are about as welcome as an overnight stay from your in-laws. Am I right? The flavor on this one though, is bold without being too acidic. Try it. I'm going to buy it again.

I buy two or three of these at a time. This is by far the best jar of pasta sauce you can buy for under 5 bucks. We usually have themed dinners on our weeknight meal plans, and whatever Wednesday tends to end up being this and some noodles with ground beef or meatballs. It's not too runny and not too chunky, just the right texture and tastes wonderful!

I forgot how wonderful Paul Newman was with his sauces. They are delicious. They just reminds me of when I was young and I made my own sauce. They were a good size of bottle there good quality and I would definitely definitely recommend that you buy them that Paul Newman is he a handsome guy ha ha ha ha.

Garlic upsets my stomach awfully. This sauce is the only one I'll buy. Use it for homemade pizza as well as spaghetti and Mac and beef and lasagna. Mix in a can of great value petite diced tomatoes for a lighter Italian flavor or to stretch the sauce.

The only marinara my husband will eat. I use as CB pizza sauce, goulash, tortellini soup, we love the plain, vodka sauce and sockarini. They go well in all sauces. Also good as a dipping sauce. I also love all proceeds go for children's charities.

I can't give my recommendation for this pasta sauce b/c the contents are too thin, watery and the taste isn't that good. Don't get me wrong, everyone has a budget!!! Newman's is bland w/o sodium /🧂.i WAS looking to keep my daily salt at a minimum but this loses too much taste. If you're simply looking to save money here and there, judge for yourself. it's not restaurant quality IMO.
