Works excellent. We didn't have to buy new ones. We just added the adapter to the old ones. We've had for almost 6 months and had bo problems so far. I highly recommend.

This short connector saved my older Bose portable speaker from the junk pile. The Bose has the Apple multi-pin tray connector or 3.5mm plug. This connects my iPhone 15 with the new usb C to the 3.5mm plug. Fabulous. I can enjoy quality sound again.

I'm the only person in my family who still insists on using corded earbuds. The only problem is that my new phone is not compatible with the old style 3.5mm plugs that I've come to know and love. I get that I could buy myself some Type C earbuds, but I tend to favor multi-packs of budget ear buds because every time I buy myself nice ear buds, they end up destroyed. So, I'd rather stick with the less expensive buds, paired with an adaptor. I mainly use them to listen to audiobooks, so the sound doesn't need to be amazing. This adaptor works well for me and I would definitely buy another. The only other thing I want to mention is that if you are new to using these adaptors, there can be a slight lag between when you plug the adaptor and earbuds into your phone and when the sound comes through. The first time I used one, I was convinced it didn't work because there was silence for the first few seconds. So, don't be surprised if that happens, just give it a moment before you decide it doesn't work.

very perfect for the phone

It mutes the phone, can live with. The shorting out has been erratic and was ok for a couple of days. After that its been twist this way, lay it this way, and jumps in and worse than a cd walkman back in the deal with skipping! Checked the aix cable with my old phone; not a skip or syayic at all. I would avoid purchase. ONN really needs to work on this one.

while this item will connect from your phone to your earbuds in order to be able to watch videos or listen to music, the connection is very poor. Well using the connector, it can adjust the volume independently from 1 earbud to the other earbud, it will increase the volume or decrease the volume independently, or will blare static. I will need to purchase a new connector. I would NOT recommend this item.
