I purchased the Contemporary Swag Hook in white to create a hanging bag storage display in bedroom. I used this with the white paperclip chain and s-hooks also at Walmart to complete the project. I'm really happy with this vertical storage option with parts easily available all at one store.

The hook was quick and easy to install with the included directions; a drill, with 1/8th and 5/8th bits, is required. I installed the hook in the ceiling and I'm using it to hang a plant which weighs about 20 lbs. The hook seems very stable and could hold more weight if needed. Overall, this is a good product at a good price.

I would definitely recommend these hooks. I was impressed by how well they actually work and how easy it was to install.. I've been searching for some hooks to hang some plants up that would be secure enough. There is no damage to my ceiling and I can remove the hooks easily.

Heavyweight, strong metal hooks and screws. These are much larger than the common swag hooks. When the extra heavy and large macrame table was hanging from the common size hooks, it fell and crashed to the floor months later. This hook is higher quality and strong - holding up very well.

I bought these to hang from my carport . I have put a candle chandelier in one and wind chime for the other. They are very nice looking and very sturdy for any item! The assembly took about 5 minutes--my son in law put them up for me ! We used my drill. I had bought 2 others last year and they have a plant and the other is holding another wind chime.

I wanted this in black but couldnt get one sme day so decided to settle for white to hang a vegetable/fruit basket in my kitchen. This worked out. It is sturdy and super easy to hang because they include a screw anchor if you drill into a stud and if not then they supply a hollow wall anchor. All good.

Used these to hang sconces, a huge mirror with wrought iron decorations and a whole host of other things around my new place. I love em. Wife loves em.

Very easy to install. Packaging included the bit size needed which was nice - no guessing. Looks nice and matches the outside trim. Very sturdy for bird feeder and I'm sure would be for plants also

I purchased this to hang a lamp from my ceiling, and it is holding up very nicely! I am not sure that I had the right tools for installing this, but boy howdy did it rain drywall. I am going to have a *fun* time filling in the hotdog -sized hole in my ceiling when I move out.

It is hard to review the hook because I could NOT use it. Unless you have an exiting hole in the ceiling or a drill to make a hole, this is useless. There has to be a hole in order to screw this hook into the ceiling. Also, that hole has to be big enough for the clamp to fit through. AND, the weight limit is also misleading - you must consider what type of ceiling you have before trusting it to hold a house plant. If screwed into a beam, I still would not trust it to hold 50lbs.
