I gave this whistle to my sister for her early morning walks, and she loves it. It's small enough to easily fit in a pocket, but loud enough to scare unfriendlies away.

We are very glad we had this whistle with us when we went from Hurricane creek boat ramp to fate Sanders Marina! we had to use it, and it WORKED GREAT!!

Small whistle with four functions. It's a little hard to see the thermometer reading because it's small and the mercury tube is at the wrong angle, otherwise it would be a 5-star review.

I purchased this to hang on my keyring for emergencies. Thankfully I haven't needed it yet. Compass, magnifier and thermometer are all good for use. Price for the four-in-one is worth consideration for purchase for anyone or your whole family.

I wanted a whistle that was easy to use and lightweight. Added compass perhaps okay, but I really did not want the thermometer also attached, making the entire thing cheap.

it looked just like the picture, but I found it very hard to blow the whistle. Was not very loud or I could not blow it where it was long enough to hear.

The compass orientation is off by 180 degrees and the magnifying lens was scratched. The lens offers very little magnification. Aside from that, it's ok.

The 4 functions work but barely. The compass of each was inaccurate compared to a known working compass or a digital one. The focal length of the Magnifier required you to bring it within 1/2" of the object. The Whistle worked fairly well, but was very shrill, didn't appear the sound carried anywhere near as far as my Fox40's. And last of all the Worthless Thermometer! The Red Color dividing line was very hard to distinguish in dim or bright light, wearing 1,50 glasses %26 a 10X view from my camera. The Red line was finer than a human hair. Virtually worthless-Do Not Waste The Time Or Money. The Coughlans Thermometer alone is better for Temp as a Jacket Zipper Pull.

Whistle would only be heard if someone was within 3 ft. of you. And sometimes you have to blow on 3 or 4 times to get a strangled woohoo
