this paddle saved my life on a solo sea trip 28days out my sails gave way and i had to use this paddle to get back although i sailed 28 days out i got back in 6hr with this paddle its highly recommended i also used it to fight off pirates as they tried to board my vessel when they saw it was orange the dispersed immediately its just a paddle but it did what is made for. saving my life.

I'm not going to say this is the best paddle ever made. To be 100% honest, I hope I never have to use it! I bought it to be an emergency item for my boat, and it excels in that role. its easy to stow out of the way when storage capacity is full of fishing equipment. It takes up less room than the wooden sculling paddles and won't warp or break. It is easily extended and can be used if needed. If the law requires a paddle for you boat where you fish, I don't think you would regret getting this paddle.

My daughter wanted this to replace her old paddle for her paddle board. Good size and sturdy. Does the job as it should!

the paddels are very sturdy. they can be adjust to short or any lenght to long in minutes. very handy. they also float so you won't lose them.

This paddle is ok for a back up paddle to get you back to shore. I recommend a tether so the back up paddle isn't lost in a spill over. The hi viz orange color is great too. Handle extends.

I bought this from my kayak to use and it does a very good job. I don't like the big ones that come with kayaks and since I go in small rivers, it does an amazing job.

We bought two of these paddles for our first tubing experience in class 1/2 rapids. One will no longer lock in the collapsed position, and neither would remain locked when fully extended. Since the river current was mild, these mostly sufficed, though pushing off of rocks when our tube was stuck was challenging when the paddles kept collapsing. Like others have said, maybe this is fine for an emergency backup or occasional adventures - wouldn't recommend for regular or serious use.

Not the best quality. The first one I bought broke after one use. I replaced with the same and hopefully won't need to use it. For a rarely used boat requirement, it's good to have one that can be shortened. I love the brand, so hopefully this one will hold up.

It was good as long as you made sure the handle was tight, otherwise the length would shorten and spray your face with water as it acted like a water pump when using it. so tighten it really well and it should be good enough to use. It is nice that it can change sizes though.
