If you are looking to find a more affordable option for your child that has CMPA this right here is amazing, WAY less gas then being on aliumentum and less spit up !! He seems to even like the taste of this more! I know some reviews say it's hard to mix, but it's the same has the name brand hypoallergenic formulas . Coming from a mom that does her research, there is only one difference in this formula compared to the name brands which is the fat source used! This one hits ALL key nutrients for your babies! I HIGHLY recommend!
It's nutramigen for more than a dollar CHEAPER an ounce. I was told to switch by my doctor and was horrified at how expensive it was going to be and asked them for a generic option and they said it did not exist. That is not true! This is an excellent alternative and only a little more expensive than regular formula. I recommend to all parents needing to switch to a dairy free alternative.
My baby has a cows milk allergy %26 this formula is great for our budget. We have the baby brezza bottle maker like a kurig for baby formula and it comes out perfectly however when we are on the go and make the bottles by hand the formula does not mix well and has clumps that will not come out no matter how much you mix
We have been using this brand since my little dude was 5 months, it was MUCH cheaper than Nutramigen, which his doctor originally placed him on. We're still going strong at 9 months, I feel that he even does BETTER with this one compared to Nutramigen. Definitely worth a try! The only thing I would change is the scoop, because why do I have to stick my entire hand in to find it?!?!
I tried this product as a substitute to the Similac Alimentum because of the price point. My baby seemed to like the taste more than the Similac brand. He was on it for about a week then he started refusing the bottle halfway through it. His bowels changed to maybe once a day and not producing much at all. The main thing I did not like was this powder did not dissolve well at all. I had to shake it so hard to get it to dissolve.
Works decently compared to Nutramigen my only complaint is it does clump no matter the temp of the water. Can't complain for the price of the big can compared to Nutramigens big can. It does appear and smell different than Nutragimen as well as having a different scoop size and method. overall we've been happy with it.
Great affordable alternative option. When a GI specialist confirms that generic is just as good or equal to the name brand it was a no brainer to switch to the generic. The only issue I have with this formula is that you have to shake the bottle for a while to help all the little clumps dissolve.
It does not disintegrate. No matter how hard you shake, it will never dissolve. I have really bad arms and cannot get rid of it here.Clumps that has all the attention purposes. For the last month, until he's one. and about seventy percent cheaper than name brand so thank you for that
As far as throwing up it helps, if you can get your infant to drink it. My baby isn't picky and would refuse these bottles. I had to mix it with another formula with less than half the bottle being this because it was so bad to him. And make sure you mix with warm water or it won't dissolve.
This is the worst formula I've ever purchased in my entire life. For one it does not dissolve. Stays clumpy no matter how much you shake, stir, use a darn electric whisk it doesn't go away. Not that we like having to use formula but I'll go back to the Nutramigen.
