I always thought Pedialyte was for kids, but I realize that it is a perfect hydrating drink for adults too. My son and I went for a long walk in the heat and I used one pack of the orange Pedialyte in a 16 fluid ounce water bottle, and it was so effective rehydrating us. The taste was delicious and did not have an after taste, like many other drinks I have tasted in the past. As you can tell from the picture, my son enjoyed the taste as well and he's very particular with everything he eats and drinks. I also love how convenient the packet is to pour in a 16 ounce water bottle and instantly have a thirst quenching drink. I have not yet travelled with them, but I will definitely buy this product for my next flight. I get extremely dehydrated on the plane and water is unable to quench my thirst, so this will be perfect in my carry-on bag. I used it after a workout and felt totally replenished as well. I also tried it cold, since the instructions said that it is best cold and it is true. It makes the drink taste even more refreshing. Another perk is that it is not loaded with extra calories, since one packet only has 50 calories. I highly recommend this product for an active lifestyle or simply to replenish fluids and electrolytes when you or your kids are sick or dehydrated.
These Pedialyte packets work very well for rehydration. I have been doing a lot of work outside lately in the sun and the heat really drains you after a while. I pour a Pedialyte packet in a water bottle and I feel rehydrated quickly. These packets are great to keep in your bag for on the go use. The orange flavor is very good, it is not too sweet or citrusy but has enough flavor that it does not taste watered down. I recommend these packets for rehydration whether it is from the heat, exercise, feeling under the weather, etc.
I absolutely love these on the go sticks. I don't usually keep pedialyte in the cabinet for when my kids get sick I always have to run out to the store. I love that I can mix these with water for anytime I need! I was really surprised that it mixed well and didn't leave little clumps floating around. My kids thought it tasted yummy! The flavor was good and not chalky.
This stuff is a total game changer. When one of our kids gets a tummy bug Pedialyte is always one of the first items we grab, but then after the illness subsides, the majority of the larger bottles we usually stock up on sit unused in the fridge for months before we finally just toss it. These packets make so much more sense for our family! Less waste + great taste = a new staple item in our home!
Love how it's in its own Individual packets so I can take on the go And just bring water bottles with me! Also each packet you open is freash and ready to mix and go! I'm a really busy mom of 3 and they really are easy and convenient They also mix very easily and you can refrigerate what's left of it I ordered the orange flavored Pedialyte to keep on hand and it's just a lot better than buying a whole bottle it's pre-mix that you have to try to use up within 24 to 48 hours this you can just mix and use as you go!!! Very good good idea for ready to use on the go moms!!!
I highly recommend Pedialyte orange flavor packets. My kids are very picky and will not drink any kind of pedialyte that's already prepared. I have tried the already prepared Pedialyte and I personally think it tastes really medicine like. I was quite hesitant on purchasing this product but desperate to find something for my kids when they are under the weather and don't feel good. All you have to do is pour the packet in a bottled water and shake. It mixes really well and doesn't taste grainy. Everyone in my household likes it. I will definitely be buying this product again.
These powder singles came just on time for a stomach flu that I caught. One packet worked well on a 16oz glass, it tastes just as well as a liquid form would. Not watered down or any of that. I was impressed. These packets got me through, so I have to say that I was impressed by them.
I really like have a trusted brand of electrolytes in a nice easy to use packet. These are easy to store so that they are available when they are needed the most. I like that I can use one pouch and save the rest for the next time they are needed instead of the traditional bottle of juice. The orange flavor is okay too.
I wanted to try these for the summer as an option other than Gatorade. I thought they were easier to carry and have on hand in case of emergency. Once you get to hot and your electrolytes get low a time or two to you realize how important they are! So while these are easier the taste isn't wonderful... and the texture while not gritty leaves my mouth feeling dry and my teeth feeling funky. Does it work? Yep. Is it worth it? Yes. I like these for emergencies but it won't be my go to..
This was my 1st time using the Pedialyte powder packs. Opening the packet was very easy, no need to get the scissors, the package opened right up at the tear line. I poured the pack into a glass of water and it immediately dissolved. I looked at the bottom of the cup and could not see any powder; I did however stir it with a spoon just to be sure it was mixed up but there was no wait time for dissolving. Generally my kids associate healthy, consumable items with things that taste bad. Pedialyte is no exception. I do keep a bottle on hand in case of severe dehydration because I know its the best on the market. However, my kids have to be forced to take just a few sips of the ready to drink bottles of Pedialyte. This powder drink mix was no exception; I tasted it and had my daughter taste it and we both agreed it was less than appealing. The orange flavoring does not mask the bad taste and there is even a hint of saltiness. Unfortunately the sports drinks have more sugar but when my kids are sick, I can get them to at least sip those, Pedialyte is a no go in our house.
