I write it down and good to go. They are like a vinyl cover and back. So they durable and hold up well. They have lined pages so you can write better . I love the size of them. The paper is nice holds up with pens , doesn't run though the paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These notebooks are awesome! I love that they come in a two pack with opposite coloring, so I can use them for separate occasions. I also love how I can take them with me on the go. I would say the paper quality is better than most printer paper, it seems to be a little thicker. The binding is strong, which does make it a bit harder to write near the binding. Beware that the white/clear notebook is see through to the first page, but I kind of like that because I use it as my cover page for projects! Highly recommend.

Aside from that, the binding is not conductive to writing or reading notes. The small notebook is good for portability and its grade of paper, but lacks any other merits.
