As a science teacher at the high school level, I'm astounded at how poorly our students do at describing scientific concepts. These notebooks allow me to have them practic writing, without waste. I've been using them two years in a row now, and strongly suggest these- not just for their cost savings, but for the paper waste as well. ( they will never ever fill a regular sized composition notebook, no matter what you say or threatening their grades so don't waste the moneys (which we already don't have))

The size is good, not too big nor too small. every store should have this at super size store and the smaller market store should have this. this notebook is good for students, office people, and writers writing a script for movies or tv shows.

These are great little notebooks to go into Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. It's a good price, they fit perfectly and provide a good amount of paper to the child receiving the bos.

These half composition books from Pen+Gear are perfect for my daughter to practice her spelling words each day. It has twelve wide ruled lines per page and has 100 pages per book. The package came with ten books bundled together in a plastic wrapping. These half composition books have all the features of a standard composition book but at half the size. It has the classic marble printed cover as well. I do like the label on the front so that I am able to mark which subject she uses that book for or the date ranges for the school year. I homeschool so this is great for my record keeping during the year without taking up lots of space. Each composition book measures about 5 inches tall, 7 ½ inches wide and ¼ inches thick. The cover is durable and will help to protect the pages inside. I like that the pages will lay flat when open making it easier to write in. My daughter uses the wide area at the top to date her pages. She then uses the area marked in front of the red line to number her lines and writes her spelling words three times on each line. This has helped her so much and has cut down on the amount of wasted space on pages because she only learns a dozen new words each week. These half composition books are the perfect addition to our learning supplies.

Great journal for my first graders! I have purchased these notebooks three years in a row! Very convenient when my kiddos are transitioning from one center to the next! Very cost effective! 🤗

This size is perfect for me. These note books are nice, I want to buy more because they are a so good and great price!

Like the product. However, it ended up having to be shipped as it showed in stock for pickup and then after order was placed, it then said not in stock but had to be delivered. Thankfully, I was not charged for delivery. On that note, Walmart needs to do much better at keeping up with in stock items. I've ordered other items recently that showed how many were in stock and were good for pickup only to be notified only minutes later that it suddenly was out of stock. No bueno !!!!!!!!!!

I'm a 6th grade math teacher %26 am using these as vocabulary %26 note journals. I like that they're smaller and easier to have on the desk along side their books. The pages are thinner than regular composition books so I forsee them tearing faster, but I'm looking forward to working with them this year

this item in the store and definitely online is very confusing I only need composition book and I don't understand why it wasn't clear so I ended up ordering a two pack thinking well it's just two composition books because the one pack looked like it was 10 instead I ordered two I think 10 packs and I really only want one composition half size book so I don't know why they sell them like this I mean it's a really good price it's really cheap but I only needed one half size composition book and now I've ordered two big two packs. Bad description. Just my opinion

I did not receive all of the notebooks. So, I did not open my package yet. If I don't receive the test of my order, I will be returning the books. I can't use just one pack for my classroom.
