These are the only pens I buy for myself. Write smoothly and generally last a long time. Best for check writing as the ink absorbs into the paper better than ballpoints. I always buy the refills when I can find them because the pens themselves are sturdy enough to be reused many times. A big money saver.
As a teacher, my husband is always looking for pens that write smoothly, don't bleed, don't smudge, and last a longer time. We'll, he hit the jackpot with these pens as they're exactly what he was looking for. Their reasonably priced and work great; why not buy them?
I love Pilot G2 pens and the refills. I like the black fine point. It writes beautifully and very smooth. The fine point is great for making check book entries in those tiny little boxes. And you can doodle your heart out all day long. The blue ink is very pretty but I like the black fine point- or bold-very dramatic.
As using black ink vs. blue ink is requested nowadays, im very pleased with Pilot G2 gel pen refills. Nothing was wrong with blue, just was requested for legal purposes to use prn with black ink. So as I'm no expert, I am assuming its for legal purposes, or naybe black ink will work better on a copy machine.
I have the Pilot G2 Gel Pen and purchase the Pilot G2 Gel Pen Refills all the time. I keep them on hand in case I happen to run out of ink and the price is great. I use them when working at home. Easy to use.
Would like to see blue ink refills in the store also but prior to christmas a few different trips there wasn't any so I stuck with black ink in my blue pens.
I bought these by accident, but they fit my pilot beens perfectly, and the color is very rich and bold. Loved it, but wasn't the ones I needed for my friction pens.
The "Fine" nib is just right for my style of writing and penmanship. Writing fluid is dependable and smooth-flowing without any blobs! Pen fits nicely in the hand.
Best type of gel pen out. The refills are affordable and available most times. Only downfall is they do run out quite fast. Quality output. Makes any handwritten note clean and crisp in its appearance.
I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS PRODUCT BOUGHT FROM WALMART... Walmart's price for this product, and so many others are so terrible now. We needed the same product in red and found it from a different online store for $2.50, Walmart price for same item?... $6.00-9.00!! NEVER again. It's a great product. I would recommend you buy it somewhere else. I am contacting the state attorney general office about Walmart's pricing! Like this review? I'll give more. EVERY time we have trusted Walmart to "substitute" an item they have replaced it with a similar item that costs 2-3 times more. It's become profitable for Walmart to have low inventory on affordable priced items, hoping you will allow them to replace it with something far more expensive when out of stock. Look out for this Walmart scam at best, and illegal at worst in some instances!
