The wooden square box arrived in a raw blonde color. Box has been lightly sanded. A bonus if you want to paint it. The lid fits well. There are slit openings across the lid. From the picture it just looks like a decoration but the lid is made of small planks with spaces between them. Nice quality box. Overall, perfect for my needs.

This made a great painted gift box for Christmas. It took several coats of paint and sealant easily and had no issue with hot glue. Very pleased with my purchase.

Nice quality box with airflow for the goodies inside. Paintable, stainable, usable for whatever you have in mind. Would recommend this box and its versatility.

This is a very sturdy wooden box. I bought two to use as gift boxes for my kids. I will stain them first so they can be used as trinket boxes. I am happy with the price too. I was looking on Amazon for similar boxes and they all run about double the price of these, or more.

This is a fun little project to do with my children, it's small but mighty!

The box does not work for what I bought it for. However, it is adorable and I have a great-neice and grand-nephew who will enjoy decorating and keeping things in their own box.

Exactly what I was expecting. Lightweight. The lid fits well. My grandkids are using them to keep their "treasures". I plan on doing a little wood burning on them.
