I always love having cereal option in the morning. Especially this one which is an excellent source of protein. I loved it!
Great Taste and keeps you full!
The low reviews must be from sugar-addicted people, personally the taste is great considering the macros. Combine with zero-sugar greek yogurt, 1/4-1/2 scoop of whey, and its a low calorie, high protein breakfast. It is very crunchy, which I like, but if you don't then let it soak in the milk/yogurt for a few minutes, its not rocket-science.
to tell you about the expeeience of eating this cereal... first picture a hedge with small leaves, now imagine looking at the ground and finding all of the little brown leaves that have fallen and dried. now scoop them all up and put them inside a bowl of milk. that is what the cereal itself tastes like, but much harder, maybe thick like a dried magnolia leaf. there is an aftertaste (albeit faint) of chocolate protien powder but the ceral overall tastes like paper soaked in milk. I can see if you are really hard up for some cereal and on Keto this may be a better option than the ones that have a ton of xylitol, (assuming you have now forgotten what mass produced cereal tastes like...) this could work for you.. The only ither people i see this working for are thise thst have very very strong teeth and no tastebuds at all. oh well, atleast the almonds are nice!
.No flavor, took forever to chew. I ate it, and hated it. Come on, some company can come up with something that's edible. The only part I liked were the almonds. If you thought it tasted good, you need your tastebuds replaced. It tasted like nothing!
This was horrible! At first you're misled, it smells like Coca Krispes, which gave me hope. But when you bite into it, it is a weird texture and while it has a hint of chocolate taste, the cardboard taste is much more prominent. I like their other products but this cereal is not it.
A lot of diabetics actually love this cereal, I'm not a fan. I am older with less teeth and this cereal tastes great and it's really hard to chew. Very crunchy and never gets soggy. I like soggy cereal. I will not buy it again. But it would be fine for most people; just not for me.
Don't waste your money. This is probably the worst tasting cereal I've ever had in my life. I like the premier protein shakes, so I figured I'd give this a try as an alternative to a protein shake for breakfast. I just choked down a bowl because it cost me $7 for this tiny 11 oz box and I don't like throwing money away. It has a weird texture to the flakes, way too crunchy. Someone in another review mentioned dried leaves off a shrub, I'm thinking more along the line of kettle cooked potatoe chips, small pieces of those, dusted with a small amount of cocoa powder. It's like eating cardboard. Don't waste your money. I'm utterly disappointed that Premier Protein would even put this out on the market.
Best by LAST October
I should have did my dude diligence before walking off with this product because after reading it it does have some stuff in there that is not agreeable to the regular diet that we're supposed to try to adjust to and I took a chance and I still ate some and my stomach started hurting and I started getting really bad heartburn it must be the high fructose corn syrup or whatever it's in it I wanted to give it to a friend of mine and he refused it he also said that he had a bad experience with it
