Absolutely delicious especially when low simmered into the rest of the ingredients. As everyone knows, sometimes pasta dishes taste even more delicious when allowed a day to simmer on low, then put in fridge, then reheat next day - and serve again with even better blended ingredients flavors. If in a hurry tho, this will taste great too. :)
Tastes good out of the can, but I always add garlic, salt, pepper And Italian seasoning just to boost the flavor.
Always my go to and favorite!
A little more cost than Wegmans own brand sauce which is comparable, but I was at Walmart.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of my favorite Prego sauce, it is rich, aromatic, and has a fantastic flavor! My family loved and enjoyed the flavor. The chunky tomatoes made this sauce fun to plate and enjoy! My family asked for seconds. The sauce was a fantastic balance of basil and tomato, not too acidic, and overall a delicious sauce!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Prego Chunky Tomato, Basil, and Garlic for our weekly family spaghetti night and it was a success! For a family that swears they don't like tomatoes, they sure did eat up every last bite and then asked for more!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prego is the best jarred brand of spaghetti sauce. In the past I used a cheaper brand thinking all jarred sauces were the same but I was wrong. The chunks of real tomato in Prego is superior among others, Prego is the only brand I will buy for spaghetti and marinara now.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how well the sauce coated the pasta. The chunky pieces of garlic and tomatos gave a nice texture to the dish. I just poured it into the sauce pan and added salt and pepper to taste. Didn't need much seasoning. One jar can cover a good amount of pasta.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sauce has a thick texture that doesn't water out, making it a perfect pairing with any pasta. I made some spaghetti and meatballs and use this sauce. It bring out many flavors and it did not take over the meatballs flavor.
Never made it to the door
