Nutrition information is on the back of the box.Gut health progresso makers its broth as gluten-free and made without artificial flavors or preservatives wich is beneficial for some individuals. I love Progresso Chicken Broth is the only broth i use.Real homemade and a good value to.
Great broth as a starting point for soups, stews and gravies. It has a bit more chicken flavor than similar products. I akways use the reduced sodium broth because it allows more flexibility in seasoning. Whan making a full-flavored chicken soup, I will cook noodles separately in this broth and combine the soup and noodles at the table.
I always keep chicken broth on hand, it is a great addition to many different recipes. I prefer the reduced sodium broth as I feel it has a lot of flavor and I do not need the extra sodium. This container has a screw on lid so if you have broth leftover you can store it in the fridge
I prefer a low salt broth, but it is not always available. I love the beefy flavor and so does our dog. I sometimes wet his dry dog food with this broth. Most like the low fat, gluten free aspect and so convenient. The broth is shelf stable until opened. I use in soups, sauces, gravy and my crockpot. I also use this instead of Boullion to flavor my rice by substituting some of the water with flavored broth, chicken or beef.
Oh thank you Progresso and Walmart for carrying more and more Gluten Free everything! Thanks to this delicious Gluten Free chicken broth I was able to make my grandmother's chicken soup for the first time in years. And it was exact! Being forced to eat gluten free is hard, and expensive, but once you find your staples you're set. This is definitely a staple - my grandmother would approve. Perfect texture, taste, great base for the soup, gluten free ingredients so I could eat it without getting sick, it made the soup! With NE Ohio winter freeze this year I made so much soup thanks to this one item making it possible, I'm very grateful. Delicious! I highly recommend it.
I don't personally care for the taste of this broth as much as others I've used that are more 'stock' products, which I know are different. Chicken stock seems to have a lot more flavor than chicken broth, which makes sense. Although this product wouldn't be something I would typically use, I think that's more a matter of taste. Some people would prefer the taste of this broth, I'm sure.
Not a great product. Doesn't taste good. I often buy a less expensive product to save money, which usually works out well for me. That is the reason I bought this product. Next time I will not buy this brand. When quality is low, and taste is not good, it does not make sense to choose a lower cost brand.
My teenage sons love the taste, but servings are small, so they want to eat more than one in a sitting, and the sugar is high. Instead I have been buying vanilla protein yogurt cups and adding something sweet/crunchy (that I can control) to it for them.
I bought this because I thought Progresso made quality products. I was sadly disappointed. If I had wanted bouillon, which actually can kinda smell like chicken broth I would have used it. No good chicken smell or flavor in this box!
Leaky broken container, not driver‘s fault
