Quaker Maple and Brown Sugar Instant Oatmeal is my favorite instant oatmeal. I buy the large box because I use 2 packages when I make it. I like having them on hand so they're available to me when I get a craving for it. I like to add butter and some Coffee Mate Italian Sweet Cream to it and it's delicious and comforting.
Nothing beats a warm, comforting bowl of oatmeal on a crisp morning, and Quaker Maple %26 Brown Sugar Instant Oatmeal is the undisputed king of breakfast flavors. Packed with wholesome whole grain oats and infused with that rich, nostalgic taste of maple and brown sugar, it provides a cozy start to the day in under two minutes.
Maple %26 Brown Sugar is one of my go-to instant oatmeal flavors, and I actually eat these for breakfast. I like having the individual packets because they make breakfast ridiculously easy—grab one, prepare it, and you're done. The maple and brown sugar combination gives the oatmeal a warm, sweet flavor that I enjoy without needing to add a bunch of toppings. It's especially nice on mornings when I want something quick but don't want to put much thought into breakfast. But I have also discovered that these packets are useful for something other than eating as oatmeal. I've used the maple and brown sugar instant oatmeal in both muffins and cookies, and I really like having it available for baking. It adds the oatmeal component along with the maple and brown sugar flavor, so it can be a handy shortcut when I'm already making a recipe and want those flavors without having to measure everything separately. That versatility is probably what makes me appreciate these more than I would a product that only has one use. I can keep them in the pantry for breakfast, but if I decide to bake something, I can pull out a packet and use it in a recipe instead. The individual packets are also convenient for portioning. There is no measuring out oatmeal from a large container, and the packets are easy to store and grab when needed. For me, these have earned their place in the pantry for two reasons: they're an easy breakfast that I actually eat, and they're surprisingly useful in my baking. If you like maple and brown sugar oatmeal, I think having a box around is worthwhile—even if some of those packets eventually end up in muffins or cookies instead of your breakfast bowl.
I eat this everyday and especially when it's cold. It helps make me feel warm and it fills me up. I am currently down 34 pounds and this product has helped with the process. Eating 3 meals a day helps with weight. Also trying to fight off the winter blues via taking care of myself.
The convenience of this product is why I purchase it. The individual packets are so easy, especially since the envelopes are marked for adding the water. Less than 2 minutes is required for preparation and older kids can make their own. There are many flavors to choose from and the taste and texture are almost as good as grandma's cooked oatmeal, yet the cleanup is easy. For this product I think the name brand is better than the store brand.
This is the only oatmeal I buy. This brand and flavor has been my go to comfort food on a cold night. It's good for you too. No chemical after taste like with some flavors. I use water but you can add a touch of milk to cool it down and give the flavor a little added creamy layer to the flavor. ENJOY!
GREAT product and source of soluble fiber! Very important to me in my quest to lower cholesterol naturally. Its unfortunate my local walmarts in Washington County now stopped carrying it and I have to order!
There is nothing like some warm oatmeal in the morning to set your day off right! It keeps me feeling full for hours and is really healthy!! I helped turned my grandmother into oatmeal in the mornings and now that's all she eats ;) the brown sugar and maple syrup is amazing I even put extra cinnamon into it before heating it up makes the consistency top tier!!
The item was fine but the delivery was awful. It was delayed and then when it was finally received, the bix was wet on the bottom which caused some of the boxes inside to be wet. I had to throw one of the boxes away because the packets inside were wet.
The "Maple %26 Brown Sugar" always arrives "clumped together"...does not mix evenly...I constantly have to get a refund from Walmart...which they gladly do!
