When it eventually arrived, a month late, the box was a squished mess. Inside the Grab-it was fine except for a dirty handle. I tried all it's features. There are a lot of them. Which is why I chose it.
However, none of them work very well. The trigger handle does open and close. The grabbers rotate well. Although the plastic feels like it may break apart at any moment. The seams actually do with use. The buttons are so hard to move. Several took multiple tries and the ratchet one hurts to 'slide.' It gets stuck partially closed. Pushing the button several times releases the grabbers all the way open. The magnet would have a brief moment where it moves the item but doesn't seem to be able to lift anything. The jewelry hook even struggles to lift much. The light is the best thing about it. It's bright and would be very useful to grip items under a bed or couch. It's button actually did slide fairly well. Within 5 minutes of use, the remaining feature worked a bit too well. The folding 'button' doesn't really squeeze. Which apparently doesn't matter because it just folds when it feels like it. If the handle is upside down it will begin to 'fold,' flop, all by itself.
I've had 1 grabber device for years. I wanted to give one to my parents. I'm actually relieved it didn't show up in time. This one appears to be designed to be thrown away.
