Easy to clean. Sturdy. Spacious for even large hens. Only thing some hens don't like is that the floor of the box is so smooth it's slippery. Nesting mats would fix that.

Too small
I hung these on the walls of my coop for a pair of legbars who refused to use my floor nest boxes. Well I have seen them lay in these boxes. They stand upright awkwardly as they lay. My other boxes are 12x18 and never have I seen a chicken stand to lay in those. Also, the front edge is very thin. They stand on those edges to jump down. That edge should be a thicker rolled edge (like a dishpan has) to prevent injury to their feet. The girls are very happy to have elevated boxes so I guess I will be building some to replace these.
