Delicious. Great balance between lime and cilantro. No overpowering cilantro out lime. I keep this on hand all the time. It's easy and fast to prepare and livens up your dinner. I often pair it with Talapia or Salmon, I sometimes have it for lunch with added carrots at peas and left over chicken breast cut into bits size pieces.
this is part of an ayurvedic way to eat healthier. the rice mix only needed to be heated in the nuker. i put a pre cooked nuked pkg of split pea etc Dal over the top and it was quite tasty. my only mistake was taking some of the rice/ Dal out from the refrige and not reheating it. Cold rice/ Dal dont cut it.
if you hate cilantro, keep a movin' buddy. this rice is definitely cilantro. and they're not an overabundance of lime. it's just the right amount to me, if you don't like things really puckery. I add a tiny little bit of juice to mine. but I like really puckery things. the rice is well cooked and fragrant on its own. and loving anyone, it gives me 2 side servings and reheats easily and well
I don't usually buy ready to eat type rices, but I decided to try this, and it's awesome. Very good ingredients went into making this, and its easy %26 cheaper
This is usually sold out at my WM so when I can, I get several. I like these packages when in a crunch of making dinner. You can get 3 servings from one package and the price is reasonable. Preparation is like 60 sec. Flavor is tasty as hekk.
I was very pleased with this Royal Ready to Heat Seasoned Basmati Rice Cilantro Lime. It surprised me that a little packet would make this much rice in serving sizes and that it would be so easy to cook. It only took 90 seconds to cook this rice! If you want something that cooks in no time flat when you're busy, here you go! This rice was fluffy and tasty. The lime and cilantro flavor came through. I made this rice for a chicken dinner with some green peas. I think this rice would be great for tacos and beans too.
You need to doctor these up a lot to make them taste better, I fried some chopped onions and added garlic powder and a little salsa then it was better but won't buy again
I love Royal regular Basmati rice. It's fragrant and lovely. But this preseasoned, microwavable rice is horrible. Not only was it practically flavorless, but the smell when microwaving it was nauseating. I don't know if it's because it was being heated it in a plastic bag, or what the issue was, but the smell was terrible. I was really disappointed in this product.
I ordered a different rice and it wasn't available. this was a long grain rice and the rice had clumped together in some areas even though I squeezed the bag in several places.
This does not taste like cilantro rice! It smells weird, and tastes weird. Weird, as in bad. I bought 2 packages, used 1, and the 2nd one will go straight in the trash. Yuck!
