Who doesn’t like adding a little shine to their paint? That said, if you’re adding to gloss it requires less than if you’re adding to matte… and whatever you add it to, you WILL impact the color. A medium amount added to fire engine red matte will cause a lighter pinkish-hue red. Balance is key.

Decent product for the price and nice size tube. Now how Walmart shipped it blew my mind, 😱 I absolutely could not believe how much waste there was in shipping this product to me!! Included is a picture of how it came, for god sakes Walmart save a tree would ya!!!! One tube of paint in the huge box 🤦🏻‍♀️

I saw a mixed media artist use this shimmer paint on youtube and when they said they got it at Walmart, I knew if it was available at my store, I would try it out. I haven't used it much yet as I haven't had it long, but as it indicates it will do, it adds a shimmer over whatever you put it on. I would say it works as intended, just go lightly over other colors or it will mute them too much.

i use this constantly. im always rebuying it. the reason i started using it was actually with kica powders instead of acrylic apint because it wasn't thick enough and this is really thick but i use it for everything now. its very pretty. it does lighten colors a bit though

Got this by accident thinking it was white paint, but it works great for extending paint and for giving it a little glossy shine and keeping it from drying so fast

This paint is absolutely beautiful. Such high quality! It is a really large tube of paint.. I only wish I had ordered more at the time. Now this is sold out!

great value! tricky to find on website, you have to click on "gloss" example to get options to show up... if you haven't tried medium, read up on utube= its a real game changer, and for layering colors= fantastic

This product is gorgeous! It has a beautiful silvery shimmer that is so pleasing to the eye. However, its intended use being to transparently mix with other colors to impart a shimmer to them, it is much too opaque. It's more a shimmery silver paint in its own right than a translucent mixer. I will definitely still use it tho.

I took one of my first few pieces of pouring acrylic paint on ceramic tile that came out pretty, and it says on the bottle you can paint it over paint and that it will be opague but it will dry clear. It does not dry clear. I’m going to put a picture of a piece of my art that was beautiful that I can never get back. It did not dry clear, what price can you put on that which you can’t get back?
