I had my water barrel on the patio, but wanted to move it and needed a base to lift it to reach the lower faucet. I wasn’t sure that my style barrel would fit, but this base worked perfectly. It is sturdy and rigid. I set it on leveled paver stones, and the barrel fit easily. I still need a new downspout and diverter, but the barrel looks nice here. We will be able to access both faucets.

Raised my rain barrel to the perfect height. Unfortunately, the barrel had a leaky spigot so it never held the rain water. I finally returned the barrel and the stand.

Initially I ordered the 50 gallon barrel and set it up over cinder blocks to save the expense of stand. However, I realized after a few months that the cinder blocks were not exactly evenly distributed so there was a slight wobble. I ordered this stand that goes with the barrel and it made a huge difference. No imperfections, no wobbles, fits perfect. Lesson learned.

Perfect for the matching barrels, I like to set on a two high platform of cinder blocks for a little extra clearance so I don’t have to bend so far, but a watering can can fit on top of the blocks and the stand rises the barrel enough to clear and fill the can.
