Yep, it's filtered tap water just like the name brands but unlike them the price for this reflects the fact that it's filtered tap water and that makes it just about the only honest brand of bottled water out there. I love the bottles' small, just-right size, too. We travel and camp quite often and we always have a case of this in the car for when one of us forgets to bring more water for camping. I'm sure I have no idea which one of us forgets. ;)
Just got out of the hospital…doctor said DRINK WATER DRINK WATER! So these short water bottles 10 oz sit at my bedside, always available while the tall one tends to tip over in my clumsy reach. I don’t need water everywhere! Not now! So this little guy gives 3-4 drinks throughout my day…😊
The 10 ounce bottle size is just perfect for myself and grandkids. You don't find a bunch of half drunk bottles laying around or stored up in the refrigerator. Also, the plastic is sturdier than other brands. It's not as flimsy and the lids fit better. They are perfect for trips in the car. Some tall bottles or tall.Drinking containers can tip over easy in a car cup holder, also, they get cold faster. And are easy for children to use, in many times I have placed them in my sweater pockets, which left my hands free to do what i'm doing at the time shopping, driving a car, cleaning the house. And since this is walmart brand it's much cheaper. They chill faster because they're smaller and they fit into small places in the refrigerator especially when your fridge is packed. You can always find a small spot for these bottles.
No aftertaste. Great value, easy to carry along on trips. I love this size for the grandkids, because they have a habit of grabbing a bottle, but with the 16.9 oz bottles I would find half empty bottles that I ended up not knowing whose they were to save it for them. I felt like I wasted so many partial bottles when they came over. These are the perfect size! Great for take along also!
The bottles are difficult to remove from plastic wrapping the case. The bottles themselves are difficult to unscrew. They are also filled to the very top so every time I unscrewed it a little water spilled out. I have bought similar products, from Walmart, hundreds of times. This is the only brand I have a problem with.
I only order Ice Mountain water with a substitution, if necessary for another Ice Mountain product. I was substituted with Sam's Purified water instead of the Ice Mountain Spring water which I have ordered for at least 10 years. I did not like the taste of Sam's and gave the carton away. Do not know why I was given Sam's because the very next day I ordered delivery of the Ice Mountain and got it? Must have been the shopper as a couple more mistakes were made. At least I know not to try Sam's!
I really do love these little bottles—they’re the perfect size for my refrigerator and just the right amount for me to drink at one time. However, the biggest issue is the caps. They are extremely hard to open. And I’m not someone who typically has hand issues, but every single bottle is a struggle. I often end up squeezing the bottle and wasting water, fighting to get the lid off, or even having to peel part of the ring just to open it. Sometimes it’s so frustrating that I just put it back and grab another bottle. If the caps were easier to open, this would be a 5-star product for me.
The taste of this water is worth the money, but I find it unsafe when you go to un twist the blue lid. It has a little lip, plastic blue lips sticking out that slit my finger open so I can imagine what it would do to a child and they are very hard to open and when you do get it open, it's splashes quite a bit of the water out and we find that the bottle is flimsy itself, specially at the bottom so it will not stand up by itself straight and we've bought six cases, and all six cases were like that to where they would fall over into where the little blue piece of plastic that sticks off of the lid is sharp as a razor blade. I recommended to buy it again for the cost, the taste in the aftertaste, but that's all be safe folks.
Why wasn't I refunded the $14.95 for shipping charges? You sent the wrong size, not me! I went to the store where your order people said several things weren't available, and there they were on the shelve, one row over for 1 item. All and all I have a lot better customer service from Amazon.
