I eat tinned fish everyday. Season brand is a tinned fish product I eat all the time. I eat their sardines in olive oil and mackerel in olive oil all the time. This is the 1st time trying this particular fish product. Fillets were not dry, no strong fish smell, no scales, best by date at least 2 yrs out and cans arrived undamaged within time promised.
The package is a lot smaller than I did intended it to be however very good nutritional value and look forward to adding these occasionally to a trip's diet. These are perfect for carrying camping fishing or simply long drives easy to open and quite tasty along with the health benefits
hands down way better then tuna. havent tried it fresh conpared to tuna. but i love the grilled and wish it wasnt a seasonal item. no pun intended.
this tastes Delicious 😋 so glad ipucked some up . excellent taste and will be a staple in my pantry
Tasted better then tuna fish probably makes a better mackerel salad sandwich then tuna better flavor n texture ...
Season Brand is the best brand in Grilled Mackerel, Sardines. Can't get better than that with any other brand.
The grilled mackerel has a taste similar to the packed in water version... I prefer them over the non-grilled packed in oil version...
I've been purchasing Season's grilled mackerel for about six months now. Always a nice, consistent flavor and fresh tasting. The mackerel is firm and, therefore, I switch up from using tuna to using mackerel for sandwiches. I believe everyone (including kids) will find their sandwiches delish! Please give the Season's Grilled Mackerel a try.
I buy this for my Chiweenie, she loves all seafood and I like giving her something different with lots of Omega 3 every other week. Her coat is smoother and shiner now. There's enough on the can for 3 meals, along with her dry food.
The price per ounce is wrong. $31.36 / (8 x 4.375) is not 89.1 cents per ounce as stated. It is 89.6 cents per ounce. If the price per ounce was 89.1, then the total price would be 89.1 cents/oz * 4.375 oz * 8 = 3118 cents = $31.18 dollars.
