what a great tasting preserves - best flavor - great quality. Highly recommend this flavor of Smuckers. You can't tell it's sugar free.
I've been trying to cut out sugar where I can. Wasn't sure what to expect with this no sugar added jam, but honestly it was delicious. Chunks of blueberry in every spoonful. It was perfect with some peanut butter on an apple cinnamon rice cake. I'm new to the no sugar added game- this is the very first no sugar added product I tried. Unfortunately I also learned that I'm one of the not so lucky people that has some sort of intolerance to artificial sweeteners so while it was delicious and satisfied my PB%26J craving with a fraction of the calories- it acted as an incredibly powerful laxative. I'm giving it five stars because it really is delicious and if it wasn't for the fact that it leaves me glued to the toilet for most of the night I would buy it in bulk and eat it every day. So if you're looking for a delicious blueberry jam with a fraction of the calories and no sugar or a powerful laxative- this is the jam to get.
Been buying the strawberry and red raspberry sugar free preserves for years and just recently found there was a blueberry, which is my new favorite! Just wish it was carried in my local grocery stores. The cost was on par with the store though per jar.
Thank goodness for Walmart ! They have so many items for diabetics, I'm impressed! All are great taste and great quality. Can't find these yummy flavors anywhere else, at least I haven't
if you are cutting back on sugar try smuckers black berry and blueberry preserves I mix mine in a little cream cheese then when room temperature I spread it on toasted in the air fryer on my favorite extra sour sour soup breadsugar free preserves are the best especially wheççç
This is good to add on toast with whipped cream cheese . It doesn't have any whole blueberries, but I usually mix it with another blueberry jelly with whole berries. It adds more blueberry taste without adding too many extra calories.
I just found out that I've been buying "preserved" (with fruit in) But for some odd reason I can't find even 1 little blueberry in the Glass, maybe Smuckers should call "Jam" the one without any fuit/berries,all mashed so you don't have to chew on them! I'm very disappointed, coz there is no sugar free "Fruit spread" I can use! Such a shame!
First, I consider Smucker's the aristocracy of all things preserves, jams and jellies. That being said, I know they know better than this. This in no way should ever be called preserves. You would be lying to even call it a jam. There is an odd flavor that isn't necessarily chemical but it is extremely unpleasant and definitely spoils the product. The original Smucker's blueberry preserves are heaven in a tablespoon. If you are diabetic and absolutely cannot have sugar, try it and see if you can tolerate the sacrifice of flavor and texture. If you are simply looking to cut a few calories here and there, keep looking and grab a jar of the original.
This product is labeled preserves which, according to definition, contain pieces of actual fruit and have a jam-like consistency. This is simply JELLY. ONLY. Not what I wanted. False labeling and advertising. I will be returning. Very disappointing.
Shame on the product manufacturer's!! Overcharging consumers %26 stealing half the product from the jar!! Clearly, the bottom half of the jar is solid glass, and no product. Shown in both photos provided below. Stealing more from the consumers %26 inflating the cost of their product. Wrong.
