This litter is perfect if you have kittens as it doesn't clump. it's also good if you have an injured cat or a cat with diarrhea who can't clean itself properly. The granules won't get stuck like clumping litter. it is very dusty, too dusty if you have an asthmatic cat, or you are yourself, have allergies or your cat is very sensitive, or has allergies or a sick cat that is prone to eye boogers and such. I only use this litter as a backup for when we sometimes take in the occasional hurt or sick stray cat. we don't use our good cat litter for them. the price point is great. oh, also it's not great if you're cat is diabetic as it doesn't clump and diabetic cat pee is very sticky. either way, it's good litter for practical use. I just don't use it often for my indoor cats.

I really like this litter.It is the best value you can get for litter.It is a big bag, so it lasts a long time.It does have some dust come up when you dump it.But it's not that much , compared to other litters i highly recommend this helps keep my litter boxes cleaner.I prefer non clumping over clumping

we have six cats and go through a LOT of cat litter at our house, its great to be able to place an order and have it delivered to our doorstep as soon as we need it, no fuss no muss no worry. the product itself is both great quality and less expensive than other stores.

The litter box is enclosed in a kitty condo so I need to open it to smell anything. If yours is out in open space you may notice more. Still, when I open it I'm not usually hit with it until I start sifting %26 get to the urine under the clay! This has been working well for the cost, even with a 2nd kitten. If I clean once a day most smell is absorbed. Twice a day is better, especially if they're hydrating well 'cause they pee a lot so sifting it more allows for better aeration to dry out urine %26 absorb the smell.

I usually order my litter to be shipped, although I won't do subscription ever again, but that's a different issue. I always went for Tidy Cat, just because I was familiar with it. well, while shopping, other item choices popped up, and this litter was one of them. I use non-clumping litter for my foster kittens, because it's safer for them than clumping litter. Along with the lower price, always wonderful, it is non-scented. What a welcome surprise! Scent is for us, not cats, and honestly, it doesn't do anything to help the odor. it is safer for cats to also have no scent, but it's impossible to find. This is a WONDERFUL product and I feel good that it's truly cat-safe. i always thought non-clumping litter was awful, because you can't thoroughly scoop out the mess. Well...took me awhile to figure out that you don't use a normal scoop...you use a food scoop, or similar, with no holes at all, and a firm, straight edge. Scoop up the ENTIRE mess!!! Great product for rescues too!!

This is a great low dust non clumping unscented cat litter. I use this for my cat boxes for a home with two male cats. it has never caused a uti and helps with territorialism. I do not scoop anything. i simply fill the cat boxes with this, and dump everything out in a week. I do typically spray out the boxes afterwards, outside. In the wintertime, I will take pitchers of hot water outside and rinse like that, when unable to use the hose. I do also mist vinegar on the boxes, let them dry out, then refil the cat litter. this litter absorbs well, leaves little residue. There is no scent, my house does not smell like a cat box, overall I think this is a great system, and have been using this in this way for over 10 years. there is no need to purchase over-priced smelly cat litters, this stuff works like a charm.

I have used this Special Kitty NON-CLUMPING litter for years and it worked well. However, a couple of months ago I noticed that the litter started clumping and it has been that way ever since. The package still advertises NON-CLUMPING but that is no longer the case. Cats do not particularly care for clumping litter, especially this type which falls apart as they are more fastidious in their use of a litter box. I am now replacing the litter every day rather than every 2-3 days making the extra usage and litter box liners a much more expensive proposition. This over-nite change in the litter is causing me to look for another form of litter which does not clump in spite of what the bag advertising states. Same problem with the yellow bag of scented Special Kitty which I had hoped would hold up to the same property of actually NOT CLUMPING. Who asked for this over-nite change to the litter composition? Not us end users, especially our cat who has the final say-so in quality control. Thanks for looking into this before I change brands.

I realize this is clay litter but it has zero odor control. It doesn't actually absorb the urine, just lets it pass through and pool on the bottom so the first time your cat uses it, it will smell strongly of urine. And since it doesn't clump there's no way to remove it. The one thing this product works well for is absorbing an oily spill on the driveway or in the garage

It so dusty,I bought 6 bag ,I was thinking maybe the 1,2,3 bag I bought before that is dusty. Unfortunately it's dusty and the bag says 😭99 percent. I take a fan to get dust off.Its a lot of work but I don't want my cat to inhale it😩I would not like to inhale.Maybe it need to be more strained to get dusty.It absorbed very well the texture is great.its the dusty bother me soo much.

Shopper messed up and this isn't the one I get but it is the brand I get and his brand is pretty good. I like fresh stuff better but a special kitty works.
