I have an older cat that suffers from feline stomatitis. I treat him monthly, but it's still a little bit difficult for him to eat. All of the patties in this brand are fine, but the salmon seems to be a little softer and he will clean the plate with that and he won't with other others.

This salmon pate is a consistent favorite for the local strays I look after. They seem to really enjoy the flavor, and the texture is soft enough for cats of all ages to manage easily. It's a very cost-effective way to ensure the neighborhood cats are getting a hearty, protein-rich meal every day.

I help catch and release cats in the community that need to be spayed or neutered ,we always bait the trap with Special kitty wet cat food because the cats enter the crate quickly after smelling the food. They must like the scent ,I have never had to wait longer than twenty minutes before a cat has tried to enter the cage, unfortunately not always the cat I am trying to catch. It must be really tempting and the price is really affordable.

One of our cats loves this. The other can take it or leave it., he generally eats shredded chicken then some type of shreds in gravy, and then may or may nnt eat the pater. for me when I feed him in the am. We are very low on the salmon pate, Haven't seen it for awhile. Anyone help when it will be available again?

I feed the stray cats. They are picky. But cat food can cost a dollar a can. For that price I can give them a can of tuna or sardines. It doesn't seem like it makes sense. I like that this is 50 cents a can. And the cats are picky but they eat it. So it must taste good.

This wet cat food is a store brand. The quality is excellent. I'm actually feeding feral cats here. They get very excited when I open the can and fight for position. They eat like they haven't seen food in a while. Yet I feed them twice a day. The product is well priced and likely made by a brand name source.

This food is cat approved. We bought it as a backup for when and if we run out of our regular food. The cats ended up enjoying it and eating this food as well. They especially love the salmon flavor! Overall, we thought it looked and smelled good and that it had wonderful ingredients. We also decided that this food was an excellent source of vitamins/minerals for our cats. So, now we buy it more often because it also has a very affordable price!

Not sure what the heck has happened to this product but the six cans I purchased were not pate but a goop!' Horrible my cat wouldn't even get close to smelling it and she has eaten this product for a year!! To sacrifice quality for a little money is just tasteless and insulting. Six cans went I. The trash and we will find a newer better quality product!

Don't be fooled by the current star rating. They recently changed the can and the recipe for the salmon and probably the others too. My diabetic cat is picky. I had tried every flavor and every brand and he would only always eat the special kitty salmon pate. So that was all I got. my other cats also all ate it. everyone loves it. but this new recipe smells bad. it is a thick paste that stick to the can and lid and spoon. you can't just tap the load out. my diabetic cat won't eat it and neither will 2 other cats and one cat throws up after eating it. so this change is a big flop. the new can comes out of Taiwan. there is no info on the old can about where it comes from.
