I purchased two garbage cans to use for my plants and for my mom's bedroom for her personal use. I love that it fits in small space. My mom trash can had its lid that swing with no problem and mines was missing it. But I can still use it, since it was used for my plant leaves that's died. The durability and sturdiness is what we needed and it was not expensive. I would suggest to anyone.

i needed something for my new computer set up, and this was the perfect can. its not too tall, or too fat. fits right under the corner of my desk and takes 13 gallon bags. i don't really use the lid because i don't put food in it, just cans and paper garbage, but even if i did the lid would still let it fit under the corner of my desk. honestly its great for small spaces like apartments, like say under the sink. in fact now that i'm writing this out i think i might grab an other one for my bathroom.

Its nice and cute. Fits into any corner of the house. The flipping lid is convenient as you do not have to touch the trash while disposing off the garbage.

This is little bit smaller than a usual kitchen trash can but it works nice for our purpose under a desk planer we have in the kitchen, we looked every where for a shorter trash can but couldn't find anything in the store, only online. This should be carried in store. We love the slow retracting lid as you have time do dump the trash without having it trapped by the door.

Great quality made that's not too big or not too small and can be used in vertically in any living area, room and office space, etc.. Remember, your garage (trash) can be personal and should never be exposed. Just want to tell you that this trash can worked out better in my bathroom. I had bought & tried other types of trash cans with a sensor, swing or stepper lid but the material they are made out of was all "looks" & not as durable as this one. "Looks are not everything" like they say, it's true even in this. I also think that the height is wonderful for me or to anyone with a "bad back"/ disabled since the there's no bending involved; it's not low or too high, perfect. Sure the other cans/bins for the bathroom were more appropriate in size, looks & maybe some functionalities but that didn't work out for me because one of them fell apart on me with the lid splitting into pieces in less than a week. Very poor quality even though it was very glossy/elegant looking & for use in the bathroom due to the size but it didn't meet my expectations.

This is exactly what I was looking for. This fits perfectly in my sewing room, takes up very small space and yet holds quite a bit of scraps, water bottles, paperwork etc. I use a 13 gal bag in it and then add to it by picking up around the house. I love that the lid stays open for a second so you can empty a small dust pan ( I use a child's broom set ) and then it automatically closes. You can't beat the price and Sterlite is a good quality.

Love the size? Nice shape, and great price. I would like the swing part to swing a little better. The cap would be better if it snapped on tight. But a great price and aesthetically pleasing.
