A very good tea filter from House Again. Super fine mesh and sturdy. I expect an extra long life from the pair. It allowed a good filtering of the tea and was easy to use.

This pair of tea infusers comes in the tiniest box with everything inside wrapped in plastic. It arrived directly to my mailbox in perfect condition. My favorite aspect of these has to be the honeycomb engraving on the polished surface of these. Each infuser appears to be assembled from a pattern of laser cut pieces made from a flat sheet of paper thin steel. This gives it a modern look that is very intricate with fine detail, tiny holes, and a very polished finish. The different components are tack welded into the characteristic cylindrical can. It's a clever way to mass produce a 3-dimensional item using mostly 2d components, and I can respect that. This is not a continuous piece of extruded metal but rather an assembly of pieces. The result is intricate design patterns with a finish that's more polished and shiny than typical stainless steel. These are very attractive and "new" looking from a manufacturing perspective. As for functionality, I did test these with various particle sizes. So I will say in spite of the holes in this being super tiny, it still won't stop powders such as cinnamon from passing through. It does just fine to filter out most everything else and even fine grain teas, but it's probably not as good as something like coffee filter material. The advantage these have, though, is the reusable nature of being made of metal. It was very easy for me to clean, and the slick surface dries quickly. This container size can fit about enough tea to make 8 cups while being small enough to fit in a standard coffee cup. Pros: Proper functional size. Includes drip tray and hooked chain for convenience. Laser engraving has a modern look. Honeycomb pattern! Shiny polished metal finish. Includes 2 infusers. Cons: The lifetime longevity and absolute durability of this item may be questionable because it's mostly held together by very tiny tack welds.

it came in a 2 pack, which is njce. over all its simple and serves its purpose. its a little thin and feels like it can be mashed if you squeeze it too much.
