Surprise in a can
Didn't have too many expectations for this product, but was pleasantly surprised. These peas are easy to heat up, add your own additional seasoning if you wish and good to go. Pretty sure I've had these same beans passed off a time or two in a restaurant as they tasted mighty familiar. Anyway, if your looking so save time but keep flavor I recommend these. Dress em up enough and pass them off as your own!

I like canned black eyed peas. I've tried making them from fresh (pricey) and dried peas (cheap) but I haven't had much luck with either. These are reliably good taste and texture. I eat them with some pepper vinegar sauce; great with fresh cornbread!

I cant give these enough stars so good I made some lastnight and the flavor is just like id make them from scratch the seasoning bacon flavor so so so good my 9 year old loves them to if i could give these 10 stars I would

Tho a little Pricey, We favor this brand over others. Will continue to purchase along w/the Trappey's Blackeye Peas with jalepeno.

tastes satisfyingly good
the taste is great. just enough seasoning with a decent bacon flavor. i eat it with just a piece of cornbread or rice.

The best canned Black Eyed Peas that I ever tasted. I am almost 70 years old so I eaten a lot of Black Eyed Peas in my life time!

It's okay, just not my preference.
If you're used to homemade black eyed peas this is not it. I guess everyone has different preferences and tastes. I will not purchase again. It was a last minute purchase for the New Year. It may be suitable for others, but it's definitely not my cup of tea.
