Delish Straight from the can.😊
Today, is New Year's day, I thought I had ordered frozen black eye peas but it was my mistake I ordered purple hull peas. I was so disappointed because I live in the southwest and black eye peas is a tradition today…..I had these which I have only used in a sausage, BE peas, and rice skillet dish. To my great surprise, these straight from the can were delish…..Happy New Year's!

Worth it!
For NYD, I made a pot of pinto beans and put these black eyed peas in it along with leftover ham. OMG! It was so good! The black eyed peas have a little kick, which I love! The texture is good, not gritty at all. And the smell, YUM! Plus, my family will all have good luck in 2026 because we ate three. Worth it!

Great taste for canned beans 🙂
These are great if you don't want to cook a whole pan all day of dry beans..the taste is good, just throw a bit of ham in a few cans, cook for a few minutes, make you some corn bread and you have a meal!

These are the best canned black eyed peas! I wish Great Value made one for less cost... Great Value has some very good foods for less money %26 on some of the great value I like more than the name brands!

items are as advertised.... It's Walmart.com that's getting the low review. Items shipped to me were damaged due to improper packaging, wrong items sent, etc. Now to get my items replaced, i must go to the closest store, which i was trying to avoid in the first place. Walmart.com.... do better!
