Love these
II just learned to make proper black beans about three years ago and I like these Mexican beans better than the ones that are sold in 1 pound packages by either store Walmart or H-E-B. The ones that are sold by the stores here, are actually a little different color and take longer to cook, dont get quite as creamy as these Mexican beans-

Totally toxic full of food color
Totally disturbing my black beans end up purple, white different colors and the water was purple, the store tried to replace the item with the same exact one

Excessive stones and debris
I use a lot of dried beans. I find this brand to have way more small stones and other agricultural debris than other brands. Reminds me of buying dried beans 30 years ago.
