Surprisingly good food!
I mean, I'm assuming this tastes good bc my pet crickets eat it up, so I gave it 5 stars for that. I buy this for our pet crickets. We had 200 that were too big for our turtle to eat so we kept them as pets. 11 survived to adulthood and laid thousands of eggs. Those eggs hatched and they're now growing to adulthood. Due to a virus they're also dying off in large amounts but we have about 50 adults and hundreds of babies at all stages from hatchling to late-adolescence who just love this food. It has everything from grass pellets to seeds to peanuts to oats, and the crickets love it all except the oil seeds. This has no toxic ingredients. I'd recommend this for Guineas (pigs) and the pet hamster, but NOT your pet bun or ferrets. Rabbits need high quality Timothy pellets only and free fed Timothy or orchard hay, and ferrets need protein only such as cat food.

My hamster enjoying the food
This has always been a great affordable hamster food since most hamster food is 6-28 dollars, my hamster Loves this food , it's brings her straight to the food bowl.

Good for rabbits too
I did some research first obviously so I know it's okay health wise but in general my rabbit loves this food it's like regular rabbit food with treats and hay mixed in

Chinchillas are NOT hamsters!
The shopper picked the wrong item. It was supposed to be CHINCHILLA food. It was one of those people who think all rodents are the same thing. But Chinchillas and hamsters have completely different diets. There was chinchilla food in stock, and the hamster food was a bad substitute, especially since the shopper couldn't find the chinchilla food that I know was there.

Bugs!
My hamster loves this food, but we got one bag that was infested with weevils. They were able to have babies inside the bag before I noticed so there was about 500 of them in there just munching away. They went in the outside trash, it's fine but only because weevils are not scary lol. BUT now I will be checking all the bags before I give any to my little hammy!

The hamsters like this bag for the large portion of sunflower seeds that's in it.

Both my hamsters died after I started feeding them this. They both picked over the food. Not sure if it was associated but it was the only thing I changed. My kids are so sad. Right before Christmas.
