Let There Be Light for Selfies %26 Video Meetings

JD August 7, 2026

This compact light pack is surprisingly powerful and was the perfect addition to my home setup. It clips right onto my computer monitor (or laptop, phone, tablet) and instantly brings my face out of the shadows. The difference in light quality on video meetings is night and day. What I love about it: Versatile Lighting: It offers three distinct light settings (a warm tone, a crisp bright tone, and a balanced option in-between) so you can get the exact look you want. And even on the brightest setting it doesn't hurt my eyes. Easy Setup %26 Adjustment: The lights easily adjust for angle and direction. It even comes with an 8" flexible pole that lets you position the light exactly where you need it, or turn it into a desk reading lamp. The pole is super sturdy yet flexible enough to bend into a complete U-shape (and holds its shape). Truly Portable: The built-in rechargeable battery is a massive plus. You don't need a USB power source nearby, which is fantastic if you're on the go or moving around with a laptop/phone. Overall, an easy 5-star product that makes video calls or selfies look infinitely more professional!

Great for selfies, FaceTime, podcast, etc.

I really like how light and versatile these clamp-on floods are. I appreciate the optional 8" goose neck for infinite positioning and the three Kelvin settings for warm, cool, or combined lighting effects.

Best System For Money The

Richard January 19, 2016

I looked at several Camera Systems before I ordered Model No.21327 Defender Sentinel Pro Widescreen 8-Channel DVR with 2TB HDD the instructions for set up were simple and to the point. It took me about 4 days to install the cameras. The wires were the longest to install because I have a Colonial house. I had to call Customer Support because I was missing one of the 4 way spliter for the cameras. Berenice from customer support apologize for the missing splitter, sent me the splitter right out. I installed it, everything worked great, I set up the internet software so I can view it anywhere, had no problems, but the first time I saw the pictures on the monitor, I was pleasantly surprised to see the clarity and color of the pictures on the 800TVL Cameras Most other systems were fuzzy and unclear unlike the cameras in this system. Overall, I would say this is best system for my house, with the best price.

2 year Defender Owner

jeepin2002 January 20, 2015

I owned a Defender SN301 8Ch that ran continuously for 2 years. My neighborhood had 2 auto break-ins. I have remote viewing on my cell phone. I happen to catch 2 shady people parked in my driveway with no one home. We called the police and long story short they had stolen property in their vehicle and the vehicle was also stolen. We provided the police with footage of the suspects and who was driving the stolen vehicle. After that incident I wanted to upgrade to better resolution. I decided to get the 21160 8ch. I was already a fan of Defender since my SN301 has been running continuous record for 2 years. I got a really great deal on the new system and I had no issues with installation. Networking wasn't an issue since I already had the IP address and Port Forwarding set from the previous system (Cox Internet). I use Defender Clear Vu for android on my cell phone. No issues with setup and had remote viewing running in minutes. I like the remote playback feature of the app. I can view a recording on my phone instead of having to wait to get home to look up the recording. I love the color and quality of the new cameras right out of the box. I personally did not have to make any picture adjustments. Night vision is ALOT better than my older system. My neighbors have purchased cheaper systems that can not touch the performance I get from this system. I am very satisfied with my purchase and hope to get some years out of this system unless I decide to upgrade again ;)

Pleasantly Surprised

Thomas October 31, 2014

I looked at several Camera Systems before I ordered this Defender wide screen system. The instructions for set up were simple and to the point. I had absolutely no issues installing the system and using the software. It took a few calls to Support to get the parameters of the software installed properly but the first time I saw the pictures on the monitor, I was pleasantly surprised to see the clarity and color of the pictures. Most other systems were fuzzy and unclear unlike the cameras in this system. Overall, I would say this is best system for my house I could find made today.

Excellent Product -- Defender 21161

BOWm3vHUNTER April 30, 2015

I've recently had items missing from my property. I decided to get this surveillance system because of the storage capacity, expandability, and the excellent reviews it had. I'm glad I did. Running the wires was the most difficult part. After that the setup was pretty easy. I like the fact that I can monitor from my cell phone anywhere that I'm at. My family does alot of camping and this will sure make it easier to FINALLY be able to relax and enjoy camping instead of wondering whats going on at home. I like the extended warranty option. The color of the cameras, day and night, are sharp and clear. I plan on purchasing more cameras in the future to cover any blind spots. I will continuously update this review as needed.

Convenient and Compact

David August 8, 2026

Comes with flexile extension but when you have the extension connected it's hard to plug in the power cord to the light a little bit, very close. It provides just enough light for a podcast at the highest level. I had to use the clamp without the extension as shown for results that I needed. Of course, rechargeable is always nice for any type of emergency lighting needs. Not the worst, not the best, but convenient for the price and compact as well which is a plus.

💡Bright Clip Light, Not a Desk Stand🚫

ArrSea August 9, 2026

The ETEPEHI Rechargeable Webcam Lights (x2, $26) caught my eye for the flexible goosenecks and clamps, but do not buy these expecting a desk lamp. The product photos make it look like the clip doubles as a standalone base, but balancing it that way is a high-stakes game of Jenga. It will tip over. 🟣 The included manual is laughably microscopic, so break out your magnifying glass. The clamp opens to roughly 0.94 inches, meaning it will not fit on a thick desktop monitor. However, it grips fine on thinner portable monitors, laptops, and tablets. Just know that once you bend the flexible gooseneck, it will never be perfectly straight again. Also, if you clip it sideways, the weight of the neck and light can make it slide down a bit. 🟣 Lighting options are solid: 4500K (Neutral), 6500K (Cool White), and 3000K (Warm). The neutral mode fires up both white and yellow LEDs, giving off serious interrogation room vibes on full blast. Thanks to that intense brightness and the bendy gooseneck, these actually double as surprisingly handy work lights if you clamp or wrap them around a pipe, shelf, or bed frame. I like that each mode remembers your last brightness level, though cycling through every mode just to turn the light off gets annoying. 🟣 Battery specs are hit or miss. The listing claims a 2 hour charge for 1.5 hours at max brightness. Mine took nearly 3 hours to charge, but runtime actually beat expectations at 2 to 2.5 hours on high (though each light drained at slightly different rates). 🟣 WRAP-UP: Solid budget clip-on lighting for laptops, tablets, and general task work, but skip it if you need a desktop stand or have a thick monitor. You get impressive brightness, gooseneck flexibility, memory settings, a manual meant for ants, and better than claimed battery life with a longer charge time as a trade off for $26. 🟣Thank you for reading my review!😊

techincal support

urtxman1970 April 21, 2015

I recently bought the Defender Pro Sentinel 8 channel. I was having difficulty setting up my computer to view video footage so I sent an email to technical support and received a phone call from Michel within 24 hours. Michel was able to determine that my security setting were preventing the downloads to work and was able to fix the problem in a timely manner. He was very professional, patient and courteous, thanks again...

Diasappointed

Cobra June 18, 2014

So far disappointed. 2 of 4 cameras are defective (no color from cameras) and I had to pay to ship them back in order to get replacements.
