2 Person Backpacking Dome Tent by Alvantor

This is a cute little tent. It is lightweight and easy to carry. I put it up in under 20 minutes and that included time to keep shooing away my two-year-old. Putting in the poles took the longest time, but it still didn't take very long. You don't want to sleep with any more than two adults. But, you could have one adult and two small children. There is a screen on the top and a zippered screen in the front. There is also a small pocket in the tent. The tent comes down just as easily as it goes up. I just had trouble folding it as tightly as it was folded out of the box. It's good for a camp-out in the backyard for the kids or for a quick camping trip with you and one other adult.

I like this tent. It is lightweight. Not heavy to carry in a backpack to go camping or hiking. It is not made for colder temps. It is very thin material. Nice to use maybe in a nicer summer than what I have in upstate New York. I have winds and rain alot. Fits 2 people without extra beddding. Just backpacks and sleeping bags.

The Alvantor 2-person camping tent took 2 of us 20 minutes, start to finish to put together. The poles are segmented and lock into each other creating longer pole's that feed through the top of the tent material and hold the tent into place. L-shaped anchor's come with the set to secure the tent into the ground if needed. The bag that the tent comes in, weighs less than 5 lbs, and there are no tools required to put the tent together. Our only suggestion would be that the brand create a handle or sling to carry the bag over the shoulder. The tent is really easy to put together following the instructions, that are attached to the carry bag; however, it does take 1 to hold the middle bars while 1 is inserting the poles through the tent material. So for us, 2 people were needed. Because the tent had not been stretched prior, or put together, it seemed as though we were going to rip the material by pulling it to the corners, but the tent stretched and was put together as intended without issue. This tent will be used at the beach, backpacking, and in our backyard when we are enjoying the great outdoors. This tent material is sturdy, stretchable, and has plenty of breathing vents to keep air passing through while keeping bugs out with a mesh liner. The tent completely closes with zippers. It did not rain when we used it; however, the material is said to be waterproof. With Spring just around the corner, I'm confident we will see how waterproof the material is. We highly recommend this tent for 2 people.

It's not the same color but it's easy to set up and the venting is great! It rained once or twice since I've had it and no problems. Only thing is if you want to run a cord it doesn't have a special pocket for that, you have to leave a part of the vent/netting unzipped.

super easy to set up and even easier to fold down. Very light weight and is about the size of an umbrella when packed in its carrying case so it is portable and the folded size makes it ideal It fits inside the car or the trunk and does not take up much space at all. The material is tough and will stand up to several seasons of normal wear and tear. Very generous in size. Great for pool side or beach side lounging for 2 adults. My daughter also uses it in the back yard while she reads and plays.

We love this tent! Finally we can fit two people in one small tent with room to stretch! It is easy to set up and the material is light weight but not so light that a gust of wind will take it! We love to camp and highly recommend this tent.

This tent was so easy to set up that my husband was able to do it by himself. The tent is suitable for two people of normal weight or for kids - if you are overweight like we are then it's going to be cramped quarters. My husband is 6'1" and when he laid down in the tent it wasn't quite long enough for him. I like the durability and would recommend to anyone who isn't tall or overweight.

I wish I could upload more than 2 pictures. Overall this is a very nice tent. The tarp like bottom comes up the side approximately 2 inches which will help with any standing water. It is extremely light weight and super easy to set up / break down. I use this tent when I primitive camp (hiking in/out). Now for the pros and cons: Cons: 1 - the door tie backs (pictured) do not have a toggle tab -it has ties which is annoying. 2-the tabs to hold the tent poles and the cover on are heavy duty but the tent peg tabs are flimsy and to be honest, I expect to rip out with any sort of wind (see pic). Pros: 1 - super light weight. 2 - tub style bottom. 3 - pole tie at the apex of the tent to assist with keeping the tent taut reducing sagging and leaking. 4 - plenty of room for 2 people. 5 - poles have a rubber tip to reduce tearing of the tabs. 6 - heavy duty tabs for holding on the rain screen. I highly recommend that you prep your tent with water proofing at least once each season. This tent is small enough that one can of sealant cover everything once and the seams twice.

This tent when it is rolled up is super compact which makes it great to travel with. It fits 2 adults or an adult and a few smaller kids. I wouldn't take it out in harsh elements, but just a general mild weather use would be fine.

The first time I tried to receive this item, it was never delivered. I called and they sent another one. When it arrived it was dark blue not teal like the picture, about a foot shorter in length and width, and had a large logo across the top. The seams are poorly sewn so water can easily get inside. I took this tent to glen Aulin for a backpacking trip (I will say that it does only weigh 3 pounds which is awesome) and we were in for some weather. I fashioned a tarp over the top of the tent for added rain protection and heat, but I felt like I shouldn't have had to do that considering tents shouldn't have holes at the seams. I had myself (5 ft 5 in) and my sister (5 ft 3 in) inside and were shoulder to shoulder with nowhere to stretch our feet or arms. This would be perfect for one person and I intend to use it as such. I guess its time to save up for a big girl backpacking tent.
