After going nearly deaf from the cabinet door slamming, these dampers are a welcome relief. Door closing is nearly silent and it makes the entire cabinet experience so much better. I now spend hours opening & closing the kitchen cabinet doors just to take in the experience. Also, the work as intended and were easy to install.

This item was pretty easy to install and was a great deal less expensive than buying all new hinges.

They are plastic...but they are cheaper than others out there. They work excellent and are really easy to install. I am purchasing more to install on all cabinets and to have spares if one breaks. Only time will tell!

Love them they keep your doors from slamming

As I did return this order from Walmart, it was only because I found more for cheaper elsewhere. In the end, I purchased 50 of these total. Included in the package is each unit and 1 screw for installation per unit, plus 1 or 2 extra. There is an adjustment screw in the back that will account for heavier or lighter doors. The front of this has a soft pad that seems to not Mar or leave residue on doors. Installation involves screwing 1 screw through the hole on this item and into your cupboard. Once you get going, it takes about 30 seconds to put each one in. The adjustment screw is made of some type of metal that has a silver tone to it. The rest of this assembly is plastic, which makes me question its durability. I haven't had any issues yet and all 50 has no issues. The plastic housing has a silver tone to it that can scrape off. For the price, and ease of installation, these are a great purchase and a nice addition in any cabinet setting.

About 30 % of units failed within two weeks. They began leaking oil and stopped working.
