An oldie but a goodie.
A nostalgic film of a Jules Verne favorite. It may not have the fancy computer generated special effects typical of movies produced today, nonetheless I consider this one of the classics from my childhood years. A well told story in my opinion. And that trumps special effects any day. For me anyway.

"I had a old copy that would not play anymore. Had to replace it because it was a movie that my Dad and I truly enjoyed watching. I was born in March of *********. And it was a book he read to me and my brother a number of times. When Beta and VHS finally arrived, it was one of the first movies I purchased. And Dad was always ready to sit down and enjoy it. It was a ""Family"" thing."

Great classic science fiction
So far, this is the best film adaptation of the old Jules Verne classic. A must have for any classic science fiction movie fan. Oh, and it has the best version of the Nautilus I've seen on film to date.

This movies is a classic! Quality of video is very good, the Bonus features are fascinating. For ten bucks you can't beat it for family entertainment.

I enjoyed this movie as a child , I wanted to share this with my little boy. This is absolutely his new favorite.Kirk Douglas and James Mason, stand the test of time as great actors with humor and exitement in this classic adventure movie.Bonus-no vulgar language orcontent to explain to my 8 yr old!

20000 Leagues under the Sea! Great film revisited
This was one of my favorite childhood films, and perhaps the first film I saw twice as a kid. Brilliant filmmaking, excellent quality. I wish they continued to make films of this quality today. And Walmart.com delivered this quickly, earlier than expected, even! Great film, great service!!
