They need to be 1-2” lower to step onto
A few years ago I bought the same boards for my 2017 GMC Sierra. The design was flawed and the hardware corroded to the breaking point. The new boards have a much impoved design and better materials. I was able to keep the design and looks I want.
quality matters
They are very sturdy feeling when you stand on them. Mine did have a minor dent in one corner when delivered but I put it to the inside and you can't see it. the install was not bad but some of the holes that you use on the truck had paint in the threads and I needed to use a tap on them before the bolt could be in. My previous truck I had installed the 4 inch tubes. I prefer the IBoards over them for stepping up into the truck. also the tubes finish was getting scratched by people not stepping on the intended step, instead putting their feet on the polished metal causing the scratches.
Really "makes" the 2019 4Runner. I looked at a lot of running boards and wanted an aluminum board due to the salt on the roads - many running boards I've seen are more rust than paint. They have only been on for about a month and work well and look great. My 11 year old son installed them with me and he did most of the work - that's how easy they are to install. Would definitely recommend.
only reason I left a star off was that I wish the height was ajustable
Haven't even open the box yet. The truck is in the shop being repaired from a minor accident. Our old running board on the passenger side was damaged and this is the reason we purchased new. I will mount the new boards as soon as our truck comes back.
It is ok
I opened the shipping box to check the boards and parts. I found that all the lock washers were missing. All I had was a empty plastic bag,no washers. One running board was warped a little. I contacted the company and had no response. Will not buy this product again !!!
They wasn't what I ordered than you charged me a restocking fee so I won't be ordering anything else from your company
