A few years ago I bought the same boards for my 2017 GMC Sierra. The design was flawed and the hardware corroded to the breaking point. The new boards have a much impoved design and better materials. I was able to keep the design and looks I want.
quality matters
I wanted a different look than what everyone else had already , and these definitely gave me the look i was wanting , my only complaint is the instructions don't match the bolt pattern my 2018 Silverado has and when it rains and you go over water , you can hear the water hitting the rails and its kind of annoying.
I installed the 5 inch iboards on my 2015 GMC Sierra Z71 4x4. Installation took a little over an hour and I was able to do it by myself. Saved a ton of money over buying factory running boards and these feel way better. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to a friend
only reason I left a star off was that I wish the height was ajustable
Boards have a nice clean design which was what I was looking for. Looks like the brushed aluminum may require polishing after lots of use. Made more for a street truck than off-road which is mainly where I'll be driving. The rubber padding is thin and hard and may not provide enough grip in mud, snow. Overall I am pleased with the boards for what I will be using them for. Easy to install.
These mounted well and solid. Easy install. Picked the 5 inch as my wife has small feet and it is her truck. Thought the 6 inch would be too big. However, wish I had gone with the 6 inch wide boards. Personal preference would like to have less of the mounts visible underneath of the board. Function fine but wish had gotten wider.
