The club is great but even better is the service and quality of the club. I have purchased at least 10 clubs from the site. It is my go to e-tailer for used equipment. Never disappointed.
Tried every new driver for 2020 and the Mavrik SZ was consistently faster in ball speed and had a tighter dispersion circle for me as well. Average ball speed was 172 mph and the spin rates were right where I like them. I was really shocked that my average ball speed was so much faster than everything else I hit (next best was 5 mph slower). Mishits were shockingly solid and straight. I am honesty very impressed by not only the ball speed but also the stability of this driver despite its low spin characteristics. Truly the best of all worlds. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Decided to go get fit for a 2020 driver instead of just taking a random guess at specs (again). I tried every single driver that's currently available for 2020, and the Mavrik Sub Zero was consistently 4mph faster in ball speed than all of them (175mph). What's most impressive is the ball speed retention on mishits. When I hit some that were thin or on the toe, ball speed still stayed above 170mph. That's insane to be able to mishit a drive and only lose 10-yards. I personally think the orange looks way, way nicer than the lime green/yellow of last year, and the sound is a night and day improvement (Flash sounded horrendous). This driver has to be on your list to try this year.
I usually don't buy used unless I have seen it in person. I believe product is in better shape than described. Very satisfied with the driver.
I bought this driver to replace my Rogue SZ, which was dented. I really like the feel and sound with MAVRIK SZ. I think the accuracy is improved over the Rogue SZ, and distance is a little more.
This driver has the hottest face out there. Ball speed jumped from my G410 driver and goes for days. Misses arent too punishing and still get plenty of distance. This one will be in my bag for a long time!
I am scratch and Never change drivers until I have hit them on the course against my current driver. This driver is workable (critical) and sounds better. The extra yards are a bonus! Buy it.....
If you are a consistent ball striker this club is for you. You don't need a super fast swing speed to hit this club. With the right shaft this club is 20 yards longer than with my old driver. The Callaway fitter was great and tried everything to get me the right fit. Best of all he listened to the feedback I was giving.
I have played the Epic Sub Zero Driver for years now. I have tried all the other Callaway new drivers that have come out every year. My numbers on Trackman never Warranted big difference in numbers, so I played the Epic. I got with my Pro at the club this year and he put me in the Mavrik SZ 9* with X60 Rouge Shaft. He has always Fitted and Instructed me, so knows my game well. Boom what a difference this club made. My problem has always been back spin which was in the 3400 Range. After 5 Balls my average was 1600 which added 20 Yards and my Dispersion was within 20 yards.I have taken that to the course which has helped me increase my FIR. The Sound is really solid also. I purchased the 3 Wood Sub Zero 13.5* with X70 Rouge Shaft. Never thought I would find a better 3 wood then my Epic w/ GD Tour AD Di Shaft, but I have now. I even put Mavrik Pro irons in my bag ! Highly recommend trying this Driver against yours.
I'm 73 y o and I've had a boat load of drivers and the Mavrik s z 9* is the best yet. I have the TPT shaft with 5 grams hot melt and I drive the ball 260 or more on a consistent basis.
