It is much larger than we anticipated. It was for my wife she was visibly upset after I insisted she replace her 4 year old iPad with a cracked screen. Then she saw the photos that she took on her phone yesterday. All was forgiven. I am anxious to see her reaction to the improved camera. Back in good graces and considering replacing my 2 year old iPad pro
This is an amazing iPad, though it's very expensive. I love the image quality; viewing photos, and editing photos from this device is super great. I actually bought this pro version, for that reason, as I love photography. I would subtract half a star for the price aspect, but it's truly an amazing tablet.
Beautiful looking display on this tablet, plus incredibly quick. If you're afraid of missing out of cellular model, you can use the auto-join hotspot option on wifi model to instantly connect to your carriers's hotspot (with your cell nearby), so no need to spend the extra cash. Overall 5/5.
I'd been shopping around and comparing for a while to decide whether I should take the leap and get myself a Wacom Cintiq graphic tablet. I finally decided to pivot my attention to the iPad Pro 12.9” for the following reasons (in order of importance): 1. Mobility - the iPad is basically a PC in itself and the Pro's configuration has the necessary performance (and then some) to do what I need. The Wacom Cintiq needs an additional module (which is 1.5c the price of the actual tablet) to become fully mobile without the need to carry a laptop everywhere in addition. 2. Drawing experience - After months of testing between the 2 technologies, I came to realize that Apple did their homework and were meeting all my requirements (smooth pen play with very little to no pen lag, pen weight, pen functionality (the double-tap feature on the Apple Pen 2nd gen. is quite useful), lots of apps to choose from with Adobe also releasing its tablet version of Photoshop. Let's not forget that the iPad comes at base with its tactical screen (extra$$ on the Cintiq) for easy manipulation during creation. 3. Price - Apple's iPad Pro 12.9” was definitely the least expensive option that still delivers a very decent bang for your buck. 4. Real estate - 12.9” is actually still a very good sized canvas area and being fully mobile and tactical make it even better. Loving it!
After much research and price comparisons I ordered the new iPad 12.9” 5th generation from Sam's Club and am very happy. Not only were they able to ship faster than any other vendor, including Apple, but their price was awesome! And I love everything about the iPad! Extremely pleased.
I've never owned an iPad or iPhone, so getting used to new format. Color and sound are amazing. I probably would have preferred the 11 inch screen for easier holding, but the screen quality is different for the 11 inch and is not as not as good a quality as the 12.9 inch. I watched several videos on YouTube that employers the difference b/t the two models.
Everything is great except that it doesn't hand my church's WiFi as well as my iPhone. But one of the church's laptops doesn't either. The display is fabulous. The camera is great. For a lot of people this will be a very good substitute for a laptop.
Not crazy about the new charger port. I had just purchased new USB-c charger and new usb-c to lightning cables for both of our new iPhones and gen 2 iPads . Now I'll have to purchase a few more usb-c to usb-c cords for these new iPads plus keep the lightning cords and chargers for the phones. Oh and 1 other problem.. how do I charge my Apple pen now without the lightning plug on the iPad ? Oh I know… buy a new apple pen of course. SMH
Walmart please let people know that if you make purchases that exceed $600 on a debit card that you will be unable to check out with ease. It took me 7 hours to buy 2 iPads. It took multiple trips to my credit union to authorize the transaction and Walmart still wouldn't let the purchase happen. After several phone calls and frustration I gave up and was making my purchase on Amazon. The representative on the phone had me go back to the Walmart page to make my purchase for the iPads because they were $100 cheaper. I did and the purchase was finally successful. I will no longer buy anything major through Walmart. My big purchases will be on Amazon. I've never had this experience with them. They may be a little pricier, but I never have any frustrated shopping experiences.
I ordered an NEW Ipad Pro 12.9 inc 256GB, 5th Gen. and received today, 2 hours ago, an UNSEALED, USED, OPEN BOX DAMAGED Ipad. Why Walmart advertise products as NEW and then deliver OPEN BOX products?. It's a scam? I will return it, and buy NEW Ipad on Amazon, Best Buy or Apple Store. I have no confidence in Walmart.
