This is my first time owning an iPad Pro or and iPad for that matter. I have had it for a week now and I'm loving it. I do have to say the iPad pro is just like my iPhone 12 Pro Max just a bigger version sitting at 12.9 inches. I went for the Wi-Fi only model ( iPad )so that a side its just like my iPhone but just more powerful in my opinion.
After much research and price comparisons I ordered the new iPad 12.9” 5th generation from Sam's Club and am very happy. Not only were they able to ship faster than any other vendor, including Apple, but their price was awesome! And I love everything about the iPad! Extremely pleased.
I probably don't have to tell you how awesome the iPad Pro is. It's like a small computer. It's barely smaller than my laptop is. I upgraded from an iPad 7th Generation. I did notice a small speed increase in WiFi and in my games, but I mostly just love the larger screen. Apple's new software makes transferring everything a breeze; within ten minutes I had everything from my old iPad transferred to my new one and I was able to erase my old one. I would recommend buying it from Walmart. It was $100 cheaper than everywhere else. Though the guy that delivered it just set it by my door and didn't have me sign for it, but I was home and he could see that, so no harm was done. On Trac tracking sucks, but it did come on time.
Bought this to edit video, I edited and rendered a 9 minute 4K video in about 5 minutes. I plan on getting the Apple Pencil, apple keyboard and mouse to. I switched all my products to apple used to be android guy, apple just does things better if you don't mind some restrictions.
As a senior I find myself with failing eyesight. The larger screen makes reading much easier. The size makes it a little awkward to handle but nothing I can't deal with. Walmart had the best price by $50 to the nearest other store or Amazon. That includes the Warehouse Stores!
Beautiful looking display on this tablet, plus incredibly quick. If you're afraid of missing out of cellular model, you can use the auto-join hotspot option on wifi model to instantly connect to your carriers's hotspot (with your cell nearby), so no need to spend the extra cash. Overall 5/5.
Screen quality is amazing especially when watching HDR content. Don't worry about blooming, very rarely noticeable under extreme dark situations. Performance is top notch, laptop level probably faster, only downside is iPad OS 14 currently can't take advantage of that performance. Better application support needed. This is a good tablet for content creators.
I'd been shopping around and comparing for a while to decide whether I should take the leap and get myself a Wacom Cintiq graphic tablet. I finally decided to pivot my attention to the iPad Pro 12.9” for the following reasons (in order of importance): 1. Mobility - the iPad is basically a PC in itself and the Pro's configuration has the necessary performance (and then some) to do what I need. The Wacom Cintiq needs an additional module (which is 1.5c the price of the actual tablet) to become fully mobile without the need to carry a laptop everywhere in addition. 2. Drawing experience - After months of testing between the 2 technologies, I came to realize that Apple did their homework and were meeting all my requirements (smooth pen play with very little to no pen lag, pen weight, pen functionality (the double-tap feature on the Apple Pen 2nd gen. is quite useful), lots of apps to choose from with Adobe also releasing its tablet version of Photoshop. Let's not forget that the iPad comes at base with its tactical screen (extra$$ on the Cintiq) for easy manipulation during creation. 3. Price - Apple's iPad Pro 12.9” was definitely the least expensive option that still delivers a very decent bang for your buck. 4. Real estate - 12.9” is actually still a very good sized canvas area and being fully mobile and tactical make it even better. Loving it!
Amazing IPad that replaced my Macbook! The only complaints are about IPad OS that I hope are fixed to make external monitor support better.
After some problems with the order and the credit card, I was able to buy it with the surprise that arrived the next day. Very happy with the purchase.
